This house is situated in one of the best Lebanese mountain, known for its dry and cool climate in summer, is 30 minutes from Beirut, in a beautiful region surrounded by trees, quiet street and stunning views.
Local shops are within easy reach, being close to pharmacy, bakery, supermarket, restaurants and etc ..
The house is very large and comfortable, with several balconies to sit and have a nice coffee.
There is also a swimming pool and a small forest with barbecue, so you can sit under a beautiful tree and prepare your barbecue with your family.

The space
In summer you can enjoy the wonderful weather, enjoy the pool, have a barbecue, or, if you like, enjoy a huge variety of bars and restaurants in the surrounding area. You can also enjoy the wonderful Mediterranean beaches from the south to the north of the country.
In winter you can light the fireplace, and with a beautiful view of the snow-white mountains, and if you're lucky, it might be snowing and you can have your hot chocolate. If you wish to ski, you will also have easy access to the ski slopes, which are approximately 30 minutes from the property.

We have a gardener janitor with his wife and two children who live downstairs in an apartment that has the garden seat. He takes care of the garden, pool and leaves the front balcony clean.

The sunny CEDAR SUITE is an independent unit on the ground-floor of the main house located within a gated property at the heart of an organic garden & farm in Fanar, just some 20 minutes from downtown Beirut. Far from the city's noise and crowd, yet close to cultural and tourist attractions, shopping malls and sports facilities, it is ideal for holidays, business trips, and retreats - the perfect blend of central cityscape and green country living! The space
The Sunny Cedar Suite is surrounded by a cheerful and colorful garden landscape. The 50m2 space includes a main room, an en-suite bathroom, a separate kitchen, a walk-in closet, and an outdoor patio.

The main room is furnished with a double bed, a bedside table, a settee, a coffee table, a desk/table, and two chairs. A walk-in closet offers ample hanging space and shelves.

The en-suite bathroom is spacious, has a vanity, a large mirror., and a tub.

The separate kitchen offers a stove, a fridge/freezer combination, cooking ware and dining utensils.

The unit is centrally heated in winter and a ceiling fan offers comforting air movement in summer.

The little outdoor patio allows you to reconnect with nature and enjoy enchanting birdsongs, marvel at the elegant dance of butterflies, and watch the leisurely stroll of turtles.

Elsewhere in the garden, other lounges provide additional space to relax and unwind, offering different olfactory and visual experiences every season.

Our small urban organic farm is home to chickens, turtles, cats, and a family dog in his own enclosure. The natural balance maintained in our gardens provides good living conditions for hummingbirds, blackbirds, and other bird species, as well as, hedgehogs, tree frogs, dragonflies, ladybugs, bees, and a colorful variety of butterflies.

The Sunny Cedar Suite with its own independent access is located within a gated family property and is allocated one parking spot on the premises. Street parking is also available.

Accessible to our guests are the paved areas and paths between the main gate and the rental unit, not however the animal dens, the greenhouse, the fruit orchards, and the vegetable garden.

COMPLIMENTARY ITEMS:
You will find a bottle of water, instant coffee, tea and herbal infusions, sugar, and salt and pepper in the unit.

OPTIONAL BREAKFAST:
Please order by 16:00 the day before in order to enjoy a delicious breakfast in your rental space between 9:30 - 11:00.
We serve our organic farm eggs, seasonal fruits and vegetables, cheese, butter, jam, honey, carob molasses, and fresh bread.
Price per person: 15$ payable in cash at check-out.

OUTDOOR LOUNGES & BBQ GRILL:
Our paved outdoor lounges and the BBQ can be used between 8:00-18:00.
For use beyond that time, please reserve with the host. A fee of 5$ may apply.
Please keep the space clean and remove any trash before you vacate the space.

QUIET TIME:
Please observe our quiet time from 22:00 in the evening to 7:00 in the morning. It is essential for the health, regeneration, and growth of our animals and plants.

SMOKING & DRUGS & CANDLES & PETS:
The rental units are strictly non-smoking spaces! All types of drugs and hallucinogens are not allowed.
Smoking is only allowed in the paved outdoor spaces.
Lighting candles is not permitted.
Pets are not allowed onto the premises and into the rental units.

VISITORS:
Daytime visitors have to be announced to the host prior to their arrival.
Overnight visitors are strictly not allowed.
A visitor who wish to stay overnight will need approval from the host and pay the guest fee in cash ahead of time.
All rules and regulations apply.

MAINTAINING A CLEAN & SAFE SPACE:
Please keep the rental space clean and well aerated.
Towels and bed linen will be changed once every two weeks.
Long-term tenants will be charged an additional cleaning once per month.
Any damages should be reported as soon as they occur.
Repairs and replacements will have to be estimated and paid in cash at checkout.
We reserve the right to enter the rental unit at any time for servicing and will inform you before.

LAUNDRY:
A washing machine is available on site for use between 8:00 and 18:00.
A fee of 2$ per load will be charged for electricity, water, and detergent.
Payable in cash at check-out.

ORGANIC PRODUCTS AND PLANTS:
Our organic produce and homemade products can be purchased during your stay. Available are fresh eggs, jellies and jams, vinegars, honey and molasses, essential oils, hydrosols, and seasonal fruits and vegetables. A large variety of plants and gardening products are also available.
