- "I needed a place to stay during my trip to the US consulate in Rio de Janeiro. I was originally going to stay in Copacabana but the hotels were expensive, outdated, and had no kitchen to cook. I didn’t know anything about Rio, so my assumption was I had to stay in the beach towns for higher quality hotels and safer environments. But when reviewing this studio apartment, it had more modern rooms, a kitchen, and a more affordable price, so I took a chance and hoped I made the right choice. I have to say that I was very pleased with my accommodations. The room was very clean and furnished. It had a nice kitchen to prepare meals. My only recommendation is for a few more kitchen amenities. My wife is Brazilian and wanted to cook beans but they didn’t have a pressure cooker. The shower did not have a sliding glass door so when you shower the bathroom floor and bathroom door gets wet. Besides a few minor touches, everything else was very satisfactory. They have a community area with several amenities. The full service laundry machines were a big plus. Anything that we requested or needed was promptly addressed and attended to from extra toiletries to local market recommendations. There is limited parking in the street during the day but it frees up after work around 5/6pm. I used the private garage which was on the same side of the street and only a short walk away. Overall I was very pleased about the value of my stay and recommend to others. "

We previously sent an authorization to the building manager and doormen, and after presenting an identity document and registration, we have a large elevator to the floor and the lock is password-protected. There is a key on the bedroom door.

Relax in this quiet, stylish space. The apartment is located in a residential street, quiet and wooded. Close to the subway, the beach and shops. It is one block from Aterro, Praia do Flamengo and Botafogo. All equipped!!! We rent the bedroom, with a double bed.

It has a sofa bed, television with subscription channels, hot shower, equipped kitchen and washer.

Guest access
The guest can use all areas of the apartment. But depending on the date, it is possible that I am in the apartment. If this is a matter, please consult before closing the reservation.

Single room located inside a two-bedroom apartment. Guests will have access to their room and bathroom. Fast speed Wi-Fi.

The room is spacious, airy, with a balcony (shared with the room next door) which provides a very pleasant room temperature.

In the Apartment, there is another room (Manga room) that I make available and rent through Airbnb.

The bed size is single. If more than one person is staying, we provide extra mattresses.


The building has a Bike Rio point almost in front for bicycle rental.

There are several bus lines passing nearby, in addition to the Cinelândia subway station, which is a five-minute walk away. The ferry station for Niterói and Paquetá is a 10-minute walk. The Antônio Carlos VLT station is also almost in front.

The beautiful Aterro do Flamengo Park and the Orla Olímpica are very close to the space.

The consulates of Italy, France, the United States and Angola are next to the building.

Other things to note
In the building, there is a restaurant that serves vegetarian lunches. There is also a copy shop for quick printing if necessary.

If there is availability, check-in time (entrance) can be before noon if the room is free. Check with us!
