- "Great service, new hotel" - "First of all, the Relaxing Oasis Villa is difficult to find. Our taxi driver was familiar with the area and found it. The host was very nice, but spoke only a couple of words of English, and barely understood spoken English. I eventually drew pictures to communicate with him. I had booked two rooms. Only one was ready. By the time we got checked in, we discovered that the bathrooms in both our rooms had toilets that leaked water all over the floor. Also, the host smoked in the lobby. It was supposed to be smoke free. Because of leaky toilets, we found vacancy at the Marriott Petra, and stayed there the next 2 nights. We did not ask for a refund because the owner and host were very nice and accommodating, and they were obviously trying. We just did not like toilet water all over the bathroom floors."

We have 3 bedrooms in the house for guests. All bedrooms are private and for guests only. Guests can have their own rooms if they are travelling alone, or they can share a room with their friends and family. Two of our rooms have multiple beds and are set up to accommodate families with children, couples (double room) or friends who wish to share a room. When you book, please indicate how many people are coming. Once you book, if you want a specific room, please send us message (double bed, 3 bed, 4 beds).
Prices:
$15US per person, per night
Meals are extra. My family and I can arrange homecooked meals for you during your stay at the house. Breakfast 5JD per person (approx $7US). Dinner at house 10JD per person (approx $14US).

The Cave:
If you want a more traditional experience, come stay at a Bedouin cave with hot water shower, western-style toilet and sink. You will stay with a Bedouin family at the cave. The sleeping accommodations are traditional sleeping mats on the ground, not in western-style beds. The price also includes dinner and breakfast.
Price: $65 per person, per night

Sleeping in Little Petra:
If you want the experience of sleeping under the stars, then we can arrange for you to sleep outside in nature in the beautiful Little Petra. You will sleep outside on traditional sleeping mats. Dinner and breakfast are also included in the price.
Price: $95 per person, per night

Tours:
I can also arrange tours of the area or the opportunity to sleep under the stars in nature, like in Little Petra. Custom tours of the area can also be arranged, like to Wadi Araba which is a beautiful desert area.

Guest access
Guests have access to private bedrooms and all shared spaces - kitchen, living room and bathroom. My family may join you in some of the shared spaces from time to time for tea or to chat, but all bedrooms are private for guests only. There is also a small courtyard in the front of the house that guests can use for smoking.
