- "We liked that we were able to get this place at a good price for nine nights. It is perfectly located with many shops and restaurants around, and it is walking distance to the bus stop. The Anse Royale beach is a 5-minute walk. We took the bus twice but it was stressful, and so we decided to drive to the west side of the island. The owner was able to secure us a car rental service at a great price at short notice. We also had the buffett cooked for us, and it was so delicious and very well worth it. The trash was taken out daily and the place was cleaned periodically. We had no issues with mosquitoes or bugs. On the last day, the airline pushed our flight forward by 4 hours, and rather than have us sit at the airport waiting, we were offered late check out at a very reasonable price, which we happily accepted. This was a great place to stay and I took one star off from the area around the property rating just because a small piece of property adjacent to the villa was poorly maintained and the view from the street could be improved (it should be noted that the adjacent property belongs to someone else). Overall, I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family. We did not regret our nine nights."

On our day of departure, we were allowed to checkout late and Emir personally offered to drive us to the airport. Would really recommend staying at La Modestie while visiting Praslin. I Prefer long term stay. The Apartment is situated up the hill with a nice view. The distance from the main road is approximately 5mins drive to the beach.

Beau Vallon is one of the best beach in the world! It has the best sunset perfect for romantic and relaxing experience. There are more than 5 hotels, restaurants and bars in the area which can be access within walking distance. the apartment is located 10-15 minutes walking distance from Beau Vallon beach. Great walk for mountain and sea views. A real Paradise for a very affordable price!

The space
The apartment is spacious and private (see pictures). It has all the kitchen equipment and amenities you'll need. A large veranda to sit down and enjoy the beautiful sunset. A nice neighborhood with supermarkets, shops and nice access road. There is buss stop located very close to the apartment. The bus schedule is three times per day to the close by bus stop. The bus stop located in the main Beau Vallon Road ( 10 minutes walking distance from the apartment) operates every 15 minutes.

Even if the apartment has a large veranda. the client can have access to the whole house property including the large veranda of my house from where you can enjoy a nicer mountain and beach view! You will also enjoy the nice plantations around the property. and even test some of our organic fruits and eggs!

I have two friendly dogs. They are kept away from the clients thought

The House is a renovated wooden house and there’s a second unit next-door.
Cleaning is done every 7 days.

Overlooking the town and harbour of Victoria with all marine park Island. Five minutes walk to Town centre and to the Jetty to catch the Ferry to Praslin and La Digue. Ideal for person on transit from main Island to outer Islands. Bus terminal right in town five minute walk. Pick up from airport available on request at very low price.

The space
The place is ideal for a couple or single. There´s a gas four burner stove, fridge, Bathroom with shower, Wlan and a small terrase for relaxing with a beer in the evening. The place is on Private property with only family members. Very Private.
There are two dogs from our neighbors which happen to come down once in a while. They are very friendly and always hope to get cuddles but if you tell them to go they will disappear on the neighbors property again.

Other things to note
The famous Marie Antoinette Restaurant belonging to the family is just 150 meters down the road. Can be seen from the house. But we also offer dinner in the apartment upon early request. At least one day in advance.
