For mountain bikers and cyclists are offering alpine trails or paved bike trails with small slope at around the Wettersteingebirge.

You can reach Untergrainau (center) from our apartment is a 15-minute walk through a meadow land, which leads to a small brook, or by car in 2 minutes.

From the living room of our apartment looks out the green oasis of the "Huber Park" below the Waxensteine, on the north side one can enjoy the view of the Kramer Mountains.

Right on - and around - our apartment are numerous hiking paths, an ideal starting point for hikers, mountain bikers, skiers and skiers.

In a discount store market or a supermarket next door exclusive and a beverage market gives you everything you need for your daily needs. In 2 minutes by car towards Garmisch or easily accessible by bus (1 stop). The bus stop is located directly at the shopping center.

A restaurant can be reached in 2 minutes from the apartment on foot, in the center of Grainau They have a wide range of culinary restaurants and find all the other shops such as bakers, butchers, hairdressers and many shops.

The center in Garmisch-Partenkirchen is 10 minutes away by car, and the endless recreational activities throughout the region.

- "The apartment is roomy and super clean. Great for 2 to 3 people. The kitchen has most you'll need and the store to get your food is just a few miles away. The smaller refrigerator is deeper and bigger than it looks. Has a extra drawer for added space. Beds are comfortable and you do have a safe if you feel it's needed. The location is beautiful.On a small quite street that adds to the privacy. The balconies are great. We sat on it every night and watched the sun shine on the mountains in the evening. My only complaint was the city tax that wasn’t listed on our reservation that our host insisted we pay.
