The bed was very comfortable and I had an upper floor so I could sleep with the balcony doors fully open at night without any concerns - essential with it being so hot (and no mosquitos). Staff and everyone I met were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed it and will go back. It might be a little offputting if you don’t have your own transport but there is a call-on-demand bus service that calls at the property. An excellent choice if you want to visit Arles and Provence without the hustle and bustle of staying in the town. I hired my bicycle on site and it wasn’t expensive."

The grocery store is right next to the hotel so it's very easy to pick up anything you need for cooking. The internet was fast and reliable. The laundry service was very fairly priced - it cost us the same to have the staff wash our laundry for us at this hotel as it cost for us to do it ourselves at another hotel that we had stayed at on the same trip. I would definitely stay here again. My one complaint is that the curtains in the bedroom were sheer so the room did not get completely dark at night which made it a little difficult for me to fall asleep and also did not provide much privacy. The location is very convenient for exploring the area. Arles is a short drive away and Pont Du Gard is also within an easy drive."

We stayed the first time in an appartement, not a hotel, and thinks it was a perfect idea" - "The apartment was as nice as described: Close to the beach, at the end of the pedestrian Zone, accordingly many Restaurants and Shops nearby. The apartment was newly refurbished and nicely decorated. and equipped with everything we needed (dishwasher, washing machine, electrical Barbecue, Nespresso coffee maker, vacuum cleaner, 2 TV and air condition in the living room - just to mention a few) We stayed there with our two children of whom one slept on the extendable Couch which was really comfortable and there is enough room for a travel Baby bed. Saintes Maries de la Mer is a lovely place for a vacation (with small children) and the apartment of Julie is the perfect accommodation there. We are already planning on coming back next year. A full tin of coffee bags willbe available for the Senseo machine, sugar and a litre of milk, Also olive oil, sunflower oil, ablsamic vinegar, salt and pepper in the kitchen. The only thing we can't offer our guests is German coffee. You'll have to bring your own.

I would have missed this without advice, and it was one of the major highlights of my trip. A pleasant walk south took me to the Roman ruins of Glanum, along with the hospital where Van Gogh spent a year. Both were fascinating and beautifully presented, leaving time to wander Saint-Remy afterward before the return bus. Sorry I forgot to open the window to start the "airing out" when I headed out at the end. I was distracted about facing a long travel day to Paris. This Arles location and hosts are highly recommended. I would stay there again without question, if ever given the opportunity."

Arles: I rent 1 single room (140 bed) in my comfortable townhouse, in front of MOPA, 200m from the LUMA Tower (Franck Gehri) and the SNCF workshops, ideal festival photos or visit of the LUMA space. Downtown 10 min walk , small local shops (pharmacy, hot spot, grocery store, bakery) and shopping area 5 min drive. The garden is available for the use of the guests. Easy parking 50 m away or on the street.

The space
The bedroom is located on the ground floor of my house which has a half floor. The bedroom overlooks the garden directly, it is very bright and is accessed through an independent door. For guests only: Next to the bedroom, there is an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, closet, hair dryer.
In case of rental of the 2 bedrooms, the bathroom is to be shared with the 2nd traveller. The room is reserved for solo travelers.
I can on request carry out a washing machine for 4.

The Camargue

Departing from the village of Salin-de-Giraud or just a few km away, you have access to numerous activities: unusual horseback riding, kitesurfing, 4*4 safari, canoeing, electric mountain biking, fishing, excursions with a naturalist guide , visit to the salt marshes... and for the less sporty you can simply enjoy the sun and relax on the beaches of Beauduc and Piémanson.
The Camargue is also renowned for its history and its art of living. Salt and organic rice are produced there, and Camargue bulls and horses are raised there.

Located on the ground floor of a townhouse in the quiet area of TRINQUETAILLE, close to all shops,
the studio is a 10-minute walk from the old center. Parking (free) of the vehicle is on the street, or even in front of the studio when the space is free, or on a parking lot 100m away.
For your trips, a bus stop, 20m away allows you to access the city but also to the sea towards Les Saintes maries de la mer or the Salins de Giraud.(Sté ENVIA)

Only the front door and the hallway is common which gives the studio an independent entrance and exit.
