Super location in the countryside and even though I didn’t have a car, I got around by bicycle fine. The apartment was modern and well equipped. The bed was very comfortable and I had an upper floor so I could sleep with the balcony doors fully open at night without any concerns - essential with it being so hot (and no mosquitos). Staff and everyone I met were very friendly and helpful. I really enjoyed it and will go back. It might be a little offputting if you don’t have your own transport but there is a call-on-demand bus service that calls at the property. An excellent choice if you want to visit Arles and Provence without the hustle and bustle of staying in the town. I hired my bicycle on site and it wasn’t expensive."

The kitchenette was very convenient because my husband was sick for this part of our trip so it was really nice to be able to come back and unwind with a quick and easy dinner that we either picked up on the way and brought back with us or cooked in the kitchen from ingredients purchased at the grocery store. The grocery store is right next to the hotel so it's very easy to pick up anything you need for cooking. The internet was fast and reliable. The laundry service was very fairly priced - it cost us the same to have the staff wash our laundry for us at this hotel as it cost for us to do it ourselves at another hotel that we had stayed at on the same trip. I would definitely stay here again. My one complaint is that the curtains in the bedroom were sheer so the room did not get completely dark at night which made it a little difficult for me to fall asleep and also did not provide much privacy. The location is very convenient for exploring the area. Arles is a short drive away and Pont Du Gard is also within an easy drive."

We stayed the first time in an appartement, not a hotel, and thinks it was a perfect idea" - "The apartment was as nice as described: Close to the beach, at the end of the pedestrian Zone, accordingly many Restaurants and Shops nearby. For us the perfect surroundings. The apartment was newly refurbished and nicely decorated. and equipped with everything we needed (dishwasher, washing machine, electrical Barbecue, Nespresso coffee maker, vacuum cleaner, 2 TV and air condition in the living room - just to mention a few) We stayed there with our two children of whom one slept on the extendable Couch which was really comfortable and there is enough room for a travel Baby bed. Saintes Maries de la Mer is a lovely place for a vacation (with small children) and the apartment of Julie is the perfect accommodation there. We are already planning on coming back next year. A full tin of coffee bags willbe available for the Senseo machine, sugar and a litre of milk, Also olive oil, sunflower oil, ablsamic vinegar, salt and pepper in the kitchen. The only thing we can't offer our guests is German coffee. You'll have to bring your own.
