Aamod provides comfortable and modern accommodation in this quaint and pretty hill station. The resort is located around 8 km from the Dalhousie market along Khajjiar Road, past Dalhousie Public School and Hilltop School. The property is lush green and maintained in excellent condition. Perched at a higher altitude, Aamod provides great views of the surrounding mountains! We stayed in the super deluxe room which was comfortable and well furnished. There was a sitting room in addition to the bedroom and bathroom. A well functioning room heater was provided. This was of good quality and kept us warm in the monsoon season. The restaurant is called "The Colonial" and has a British ambiance. The menu is extensive having Indian, Chinese and Continental fare. We ordered Indian items and found them to be very good. One key thing to note is that there is no Wifi in the property. Mobile signal is also weak in the rooms and required us to come out and call. There are plenty of activities in the hotel as well as activities they can organize for you. Notwithstanding the many positives, we felt the price was on the higher side. Overall a luxurious experience in Dalhousie."
