- "What an experience!!! The stay was amazing. All members of the family liked it equally. Serene, pristine and caring. In the lap of nature, we were immersed. The journey through coffee plantation and walk on the natural trail was an experience of a lifetime. All PLUS... Hats off AMA, hats off TATA..." - "We stayed at two locations managed by Tata Coffee - the GlenLorna bungalow on the tea estate and the Woshully bungalow on the Woshully coffee plantation. Both properties have their own charms. On the tea estate, we enjoyed a beautiful view of the tea garden, a visit to the tea factory and Irupa falls, and complete relaxation (thanks to the intermittent cell service!!). Anup and the chef took excellent care of us, treating our taste buds with yummy local cuisine and endless cups of chai! Room 4 in the bungalow is huge, with a massive bed and comfortably appointed. Our stay at the coffee plantation was equally pleasant, with the bungalow cozily nestled in the coffee plantation. We enjoyed the food here as well, with excellent service provided by Balraj and Palraj. A complementary guided tour of the coffee plantation gave an interesting insight into life on the plantation, and the Dubare elephant camp (45 minutes from the bungalow) is a must-see. Sujith, the taxi service recommended by the bungalow, made sure we got everywhere safely, and kept us entertained with interesting conversations!! We really felt at home at both locations, with everyone going out of their way to make sure we were comfortable. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet and niche experience."

- "I don't like to put negative reviews, but please DO NOT go to this homestay. The description misrepresents the services and experience offered. When we came in, it seemed like the staff was not expecting us, as they had us wait outside for a while before we had to ask to be taken to our room. Also, the posting said the people at the homestay spoke Hindi and English, but it turned out that they only spoke Kannada and Hindi. Thankfully, I spoke Hindi so I was able to manage. During the check in, they said I needed to pay an additional Rs. 2,000 because I have an additional guest, even though the base rate is for 2 guests. When we got to the room‌, they informed us that we have to pay for breakfast, even though it is posted that it's included. They also did not give us the WiFi information, even though the network was so poor (so I couldn't pull up the reservation details). We realized that they are trying to cheat us, so we decided not to have breakfast and leave at the earliest in the morning. While the room was clean, the amenities was poor. The bathroom did not have a sink! Also the bedroom only had a fan, but it made an unnerving creaking sound every few seconds which kept me awake. To make things worse, the electricity went out for hours at night. To say the least, we had a terrible experience. This is a very suspicious place that did not feel safe. Please support a business that is honest and cares for their guests."

This is a stay at the ground floor where easily 4 can accommodate. We do provide extra mattress if needed. It has one King bed and one single bed. There is attached bathroom with hot water facility 24*7. In total there are two rooms (One Bedroom with attached bathroom and one hall for dinning).

Our Homestay is a cosy house located in the heart of Madikeri City, offering guests breathtaking city views. The property boasts a prime location with convenient and swift access to the city's major transit points.

Before confirming the reservation, I would like to inform you that this room is relatively small, including a compact washroom, compared to other rooms we offer. It is best suited for solo travelers due to its size and layout.

The guests will be allocated ground/first floor according to availability. Wenge House - Apartment is a cool and comfortably two bedroom apartment located on the first floor, has 20 flight of stairs. Price quoted is for one guest. Additional guests will be charged 1000 each. The place has two bedrooms with attached bath. The place is family and couple friendly. Four adults can stay in comfort. Partying /shouting /loud music is not allowed.

The space
Word of Caution. This is a family run guest house and NOT a hotel. We have opened up our apartment so that travellers get the comfort of home while away from home. please be mindful of the limitations in terms of luxury, but we assure you, you will have the privacy that you will not have at a hotel.. At our place you will not find white towels or linens as we believe life is colorful. You will have to tend to your own baggage's as there will be no room boys like in a hotel. Just have an image of your own house and there may be some flaws as no house is perfect. Wenge house -One is located one block away from the famous Omkareshwara temple and Madikeri Fort. ATMs and best restaurants are just a block away.

For two guests we provide one bedroom, second one will be locked. If two guests want two separate bedrooms then we charge rupees 500 extra.

The guests will have to climb 20 stairs to reach the main door.

Tenants vehicles will be parked inside the compound, care must be taken not to scratch or damage these vehicles.

Guests will be allocated ground or 1st floor depending on availability. Though in the heart of the town, once inside you feel you are away from the town hustle and bustle. If two guests book the place then they will be provided one bedroom. The second bedroom will be locked. In case two guests want two bedrooms then they can pay 500 per night upon coming down and use both the bedrooms. Parking space is inside the compound.

Tourist spots inside madikeri town (Raja Seat, Fort, Omkareshwara temple) .There will be no restrictions for tourists to come to Coorg. All shops and restaurants will remain open. Common areas for the guests are dining, kitchen, and hall.

Our Homestay is situated approximately 265 km from Bangalore. Our Homestay takes around 1.5 km from Madikeri Town .It is surounded by beautiful views of hills & town.
