There is also a shoes off policy in the flat. This flat is beautifully appointed to accommodate a single person or a couple who are able to share one queen bed. Please contact me should you require clarification regarding any of the above requirements prior to booking. Parking: There is 2 hr parking during the day in Thomson Street (one house distance from us) and free parking at night after 6pm. Martin Street is strictly 1 hour parking, with free parking at night.
There is an option to park off street in our driveway, (provided the vehicle is not a truck or 4wheel drive - small sedans are best suited. If you choose this option there is a deposit of $80 cash for the remote control to the driveway gate, (this is the cost of replacing a remote should it be lost or damaged). This cash deposit is fully refundable on return of the remote control.

There is a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, stove ,oven and a coffee maker. Comfortable queen sized bed and even bathrobes to enjoy throughout your stay. From the bedroom you have views through the french doors that lead out to the private tranquil courtyard for you to have your morning coffee or at the end of the day glass of complimentary wine.

The Residence is a truly stunning holiday home in Brighton. This ground floor home oozes high quality, with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and 2 courtyards! What's more, the location is ideal, with Bay Street around the corner. If you are looking to stay in a property that has the WOW factor, The Residence is just for you.
Offering magnificent open plan living with marble flooring throughout the kitchen, living areas and bathrooms, this apartment is a delight. The kitchen features Miele appliances, dishwasher, built in fridge/freezer with plenty of bench space and cupboards. The dining table seats 4 and is adjacent to a small study nook, while the living area has a large TV, comfortable seating and wall to wall windows that drench the space with light. The Foxtel Platinum package is included for your viewing pleasure.
The two bedrooms are at opposite ends of the living area and both have plush wool carpets, built in robes and access to the courtyard. We welcome guests to book that are going to use the property respectfully. We have a very strict no party policy at the house, which means no loud music day or night and at 11pm we ask you to move inside with no noise to the neighbours. We love our neighbours and want to look after them.
Well behaved pet allowed with prior arrangement. This will need to be confirmed prior to booking please.
Your booking is for the whole house. Shortly before your arrival date you will be provided with details on how to access the property. Linen, bath towels and starter amenities are provided and included in the price.

PARKING: Garage entrance is to the left of building. There is a short driveway to garage door. Use the remote (get this from inside the property first) to open the garage door. Once inside the garage park immediately to the left. There is room for 2 cars.

NOISE: The property is in a peaceful quiet neighbourhood. To respect the peace of the community - we kindly request no loud music or loud parties. Noise curfew 10pm.
SECURITY DEPOSIT - A refundable security deposit of $400 may be taken as an authorisation hold 2 days prior to check out and released no more than 7 days later. Some or all of the security deposit may be captured if there has been negligent behaviour or intentional damage to the property.

May be possible however we do recommend you to plan around a 3pm check-in. When your place is ready, we will let you know. If you require earlier access, consider booking the night before if available. STARTER SUPPLIES:
We provide you with complimentary essential starter supplies for your stay. This includes shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, and a few other items for your comfort. This is not intended to last for the duration of your booking but to avoid having to immediately head to the supermarket on arrival.
LINEN: We supply hotel quality linen and bath towels for your stay.
LONG STAYS:
All stays 14-28 nights must have a mid-stay cleaning service at an additional cost. This allows for our team to periodically clean, maintain, and inspect the property. This is non-negotiable.
CHECK OUT:
We don`t want you to do a long list of chores before you check out. We just kindly ask that you put back furniture the way you found it (only if somethings been moved), stack the dishwasher and put the rubbish out. Our cleaners will do the rest.
AGE REQUIREMENT:
We do request that adult guests are over the age of 25 years of age. 18-24 years are welcome if staying with other adults over 25 years of age. Children are welcome.
INFANTS:
For families traveling with infants, please note you will need to supply your own porta cot and linen.
MANAGEMENT FEE - this is our damage waiver to cover any accidental damages so you don`t have to worry - see house rules for the details.
PETS: We are pet lovers,1 small/medium size dog is welcome. We will ask you a little about your pet before they come to stay. We do ask that pets don’t get on the beds and couches. There is a small pet fee of $120 per stay.

This house was in a great location where kids (14 - 17 years) could ride their bikes or walk down the beach to the sailing club. The adults could spread out in different areas in the house. The kids enjoyed having their own space with a playstation, couch and bunk beds upstairs. Albert, the owner, was available when we locked ourselves out and gave us some flexibility with check in and check out times. We had a lovely stay. "

I have been an airbnb host for many years and always found an easy rhythm with guests. I do my own thing during week but always available for a chat in the evenings and a shared meal or glass of wine later in week and on weekends. Or a glass of wine in the courtyard on summer evenings.

This place is particularly suited to longer stay professionals. With your own study it's perfect for travelling academics or professionals.
If you have a car I offer off street parking and a beach access permit.
Situated just 3 mins walk to the beach and the North Point Cafe or walk 15 mins South to the Brighton Baths Cafe and Restaurant or North to Elwood and St Kilda.The apartment is a beautiful Art Deco style, which is truly a home away from home. With a warm ambience, and alfresco garden for coffee or wine on sunny days, there are plenty of shared spaces to explore. We are close to public transport with the bus across the road and train to the city a short walk away, together with a village arcade.
The space
Our apartment offers a variety of shared spaces for guests to relax and interact. The central dining room adjoins the kitchen and then flows effortlessly out to an alfresco setting for eating and another for more casual times. In addition to these spaces there is a large lounge room with a large bay window for reading in the sun. The kitchen is well equipped with all modern convenience appliances as is the laundry and bathroom. We are situated 3 minutes walk to the beach and the North Point Cafe. If you like walking and exploring there are cafes both North at Elwood Beach and South at The Brighton Baths which are about 15 minutes away.
There is a bus across the road to the city or tram in St Kilda to Southern Cross Railway Station.
Alternatively walk 15 minutes to Gardenvale Station for the train into the city together with Martin Street Village shops.

We have a variety of shared spaces for guests to use in our apartment. These include the kitchen and dining room which flow out into the front garden courtyard through the sunroom/study. There are 2 separate areas in the courtyard, a table and chairs and a barbecue for eating and cooking, and a more informal area with 2 cane armchairs and a small coffee table and a cane lounge for relaxing with a book, coffee or a glass of wine. In addition to this guests often use the laundry, with washing machine and dryer and of course there is a lounge room with piano and television.
During your stay
I enjoy meeting and greeting my guests although sometimes my son Sam will do this for me as I work full time and may be delayed getting home. I lead a busy life, but I do like to get to know my guests and where they come from, their cultures and languages and their views on Australia and Melbourne. I think this is one of the great benefits of hosting for Airbnb!
Other things to note
Ours is a non-smoking household so please keep this in mind when booking as we do not want the smell lingering as people return inside or in the bedrooms.

Small One-bedroom Studio attached to an art deco home, with your own private entrance and space. Beautifully decorated to make you feel more at home.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with a dishwasher, microwave, stove, oven, and a coffee maker. Comfortable queen-sized bed and even bathrobes to enjoy throughout your stay. From the bedroom, you have views through the french doors that lead out to the private tranquil courtyard for you to have your morning coffee or at the end of the day glass of complimentary wine.

My unit has a very good location. It is 500m to Brighton beach, 500m to Middle brighton train station, 50 m to the Church street shopping centre. 30m to Brighton Grammar School.
There are two bedrooms (a large bedroom with a queen bed & a smaller bedroom with a double bed), a generous living room, a recently renovated kitchen, laundry and bathroom. High speed internet and smart TV. It is a wonderfully quite place for people who love beach life.
The space
The unit is its own self contained area, has a free parking garage and a beautiful backyard. It is very private because it is at the end of the four units. It is a perfect retreat, you will enjoy holiday mood and life convenience at same time.

Our guests can free to go to middle Brighton beach and colourful baths. There are plenty restaurants, cafes for you to enjoy, also close to cinema.
Other things to note
Rubbish is divided into 2.
The green bin for general waste, and yellow bin for recycle. Every Tuesday is bin day, it will be great appreciate if you could help to pull out the bins on Monday night on the street and take it back on Tuesday afternoon.
Please respect our family oriented neighbourhood. Strictly no parties/events to be held in our home.

🥳 Spilt system and Heater: We have two Spilt systems for both heating and cooling. One is in the one big bedroom and another one is in the living area. Apart from that, we provide extra portal heater stored in the cabinet that guests can use in the another bedroom.
😇 Please note that we don’t provide food items like salt, oil, or pepper. But we do offer complimentary coffee, sugar, and tea. Local shops are just a short walk if you need anything for cooking.

● Linen: in each bedroom, we have one fitted bed sheet, one sheet, one quilt with cover, one smaller quilt with cover, two pillows, a few cushions.
● Towels: Each guest per stay, we provide one mega bath towel, one bath towel, one face washer, one hand towel
