- "We were greeted by staff as we walked up the driveway to the hotel. We received all the information about our room and a map of the area and relevant information about what to do and see while staying there." - "Convenient location less than 5 minutes walk to the train station and just 2 minutes to the beach. Quite and safe area, with multiple restaurants, a grocery store, laundromat and 2 gelateria nearby. Property condition is very good and room was fantastic, very spacious and clean, including big bathroom, AC and elevator. My issues were that there isn't someone at the front desk all the time in the afternoon and evening, even though they are supposed to be there and the front gate at the street is locked so an issue for the first time when to come in (then they give you a code). Also the villa is up a steep hill, so difficult to walk up to with bags as well as to drive up a very very narrow lane in a car. Wi-FI is sketchy. Breakfast is extra, which they are keen to sell to you. And ocean view is very limited so be careful when paying extra for those rooms. And at 200 Euros a night it ain't cheap. But you won't regret it. Monterosso is an excellent seaside town, best beach in the Cinque Terre."

The drive up is on a one lane road, so be careful. Also, try to time your shuttle rides to train rides if you are going to different villages so that you are not wasting a lot of valuable time. "
