- "Beautiful setting, great service and lovely staff " - "This is an upmarket hotel but NOT adults only and is also pet friendly. So if you want tranquility around the pool area (which is normally lovely) you may well achieve this or on occasion you may find children playing in the pool, a random cat which people obviously feed and on one day a dog running around off a leash. Not easy to relax when a wet muzzle could be in your face at any moment. It is also worth mentioning there is no air conditioning. However if you don’t mind all of that, this is a truly, truly fantastic place. The employees are simply excellent - attentive, professional, courteous, thoughtful and proactive. Food and wine is extremely good. Dinner has a limited menu but only an issue if you stayed for 8 nights like we did. Having some of these dishes more than once is hardly a problem though! You get what you pay for - this is a very expensive venue, especially if you choose to eat and drink here a lot but it is high end and we will absolutely be back. Ps some other reviews mention hot rooms and road noise - we experienced both but it did not detract from our enjoyment. Fans are provided in the room and a day in the fresh air and plenty of vino ensured a peaceful and uninterrupted sleep !"

The rooms are spacious and clean with tea and coffee and buscuits. Water is delivered daily and the minibar is well stocked. There are complimentary toiletries and a very useful shoe shiner (very useful after a long and dusty walk). The hirel is ideally located and is minutes away from the marina, Maritime Museum, Jersey Museum and Liberation Station. We can't wait to come back. "

Rooms were bigger than normal and the view of the sea and marina added to the experience." - "I booked one of the Panorama suites, and we were alocated 425 which was probably the best of the bunch having superb views over the harbour and beach. One of the main things we noticed was how quiet the room was - silent ! I had considered some of the other main hotels in St Helier, but on arrival these were right next to the busy main road which was very noisy, so glad I chose the Radisson as its away from the main road. The room was superb. I consider myself "fussy" but the room was perfect. The bed was HUGE - Super king meant my wife and I could sleep stretched out and have loads of room. The bed was comfortable firm foam and the aircon was excellent at keeping us cool (also whisper quiet). having a fridge and a decent coffee machine was great. Breakfast was probably one of the best I have had - everything you could wish for. TIP: if you want eggs other than scrambled - you ask for these on arrival. We ate in the hotel one night and the food was excellent - we dined in St Helier most nights. Superb hotel, wouldnt hesitate to recommend. Yes its a little more expensive, but for the views and peace - well worth it."

The hill is a little steep. Somerville staff were very welcoming and it has an old world charm of an English country hotel. The rooms need a little modernizing but I would not hesitate to stay here again on my next visit to jersey."

Staff very friendly and helpful" - "In the centre of town with bus station below which was ideal for getting around the island, Great eateries on your doorstep. Loads of shops all within walking distance. With the apartment being above the bus station it was a little noisy early morning but not excessive. " - "Front desk persons very helpful. Apartment also came equipped with some tablets for washer, liquid dish soap, paper towels, as well as some coffee, tea, milk (in fridge). Rooms were quiet. Good area. The main bus station for the island twenty feet away. Great to have washer/dryer (although we found either that the dryer aspect of the machine didn't work well or that we could not get it to work). Would stay here again."
