- "This property is a real gem. The rooms are spacious and clean, and out of the "main" area of the town, but still close enough to everything, the best of both worlds. For the most part, it is a quiet area as well. The only concern is that there are roosters that love to start making their daily noises around 4AM and don't let up until late at night, but Salento is such a small town, I don't think you can get away from it no matter where you stay. - "This is actually a house with three rooms available for rent. It is located out in the country right between Downtown Salento and the Valle de Cocora. It is ideal if you plan to travel to the Valle de Cocora for some horseback riding, not if you want to explore the city center of Salento. We lucked out because everybody checked out during the day we checked in; hence, we had the entire house to ourselves. Nice! The service worker lives across the street and will attend any concerns that may arise. "

- "This is a real gem. Balsora Hotel Boutique is on a beautiful property down a winding country road. There are flowers, trees, birds and more all around. It is quiet and impeccably kept. It is a beautiful, very small boutique hotel/BnB. The room was clean, spacious, comfortable and lovely. The hotel has a little swimming pool and breakfast is served by the owners. The owners are amazing! They were attentive and incredibly hospitable. Carlos even drove us to a nearby restaurant for dinner. This is a unique and amazing place. I recommend highly.
