There are also lots of things to keep kids entertained - backyard playground, bikes & scooters, corn hole, giant Jenga, ladder ball, tons of toys, books, and board games! This home has the feeling of country living, yet is close enough to all the amenities the city has to offer! Sleeps 10 comfortably in beds, but has room for up to 5 more when you include the sofa and multiple air mattresses we provide. An additional $50 housekeeping fee will be assessed if more than 10 guests, $100 if more than 15, and $150 if more than 20.

This home has a spacious master bedroom with a king-sized bed, including a Serta pillow-top mattress and Pottery Barn bedding. It also has a comfortable gliding chair, which is perfect for reading or rocking little ones to sleep. One step into the on-suite bathroom and you'll feel like you're in a luxury spa! It includes an oversized bathtub, separate shower, dual his & hers sinks with vanity in-between, and a private water closet. We also installed new tile floors in the spring of 2025. The second bedroom contains a queen size bed with pillow top mattress, and a pack n’ play in the closet. The third bedroom has a twin-size loft bed & twin size air mattress. It also has a large solid wood dresser, and a full-size vanity with lighted mirror. The fourth bedroom has a solid wood full-size bed, pillow-top mattress, & Pottery Barn Kids desk with hutch (all purchased in 2021). We also have a twin-size air mattress in the closet. The bedrooms are all upstairs, and there is also another full guest bathroom, and laundry room with front-load washer & dryer (new in 2024) for guest use.

The main floor has a spacious living room with new carpet in May 2019, a leather sectional, and a large wooden entertainment center, with a 55” flatscreen 4K Smart TV, Hulu + live tv, Disney +, Amazon Movies, & tons of board games.

The remainder of the first floor has hickory solid hardwood floors that were also installed in 2019.

The kitchen has everything you'll need to host a proper dinner party, including pots, pans, crock pot, skillet, blender, toaster, can opener, coffee pot, plenty of cooking utensils, dishes, glasses & silverware. It was remodeled in March 2022 to expand the island with seating for up to four, add a new stainless steel sink, Delta faucet & granite countertops with tile backsplash!!!

The adjoining dining room includes a solid wood table and chairs with seating for up to ten, and coordinating buffet with Pottery Barn dishes. In addition, there is also a half bath on the main floor.

The finished basement has a queen size sofa sleeper with matching love seat, and a 55" smart TV. There is also a kids play area downstairs with tons of toys, puzzles, and board games. The storage closet underneath the stairs contains two 8-foot long folding tables, as well as a card table and eight folding chairs - perfect for entertaining large parties!

This home also has a two car garage, and free WiFi. What more could you need? Just bring your suitcase and enjoy your stay!

Disclaimer: This is our primary residence, and the majority of what we earn from renting it is invested back into our home in terms of maintenance or remodeling projects. We take pride in keeping our home looking nice and neat. We do have kids however, so things inevitably get broken or stained from time to time. Sto-Nee Ridge, is located on Spencer Hill, a secluded, beautiful park-like acreage 30 minutes from Omaha and Lincoln. The cabin has fantastic views of nearby Lake Wanahoo and features a 2600 sq. ft. open floor plan decorated with modern/rustic furnishings, knotty pine cathedral ceilings, reclaimed antique barn wood flooring and granite countertops. The 5 bedrooms/3 baths are appointed with luxury linens.

The main floor has a fully equipped kitchen, a great room with dining capacity for 12 indoors or on the adjoining deck. The main floor also has two bedrooms, one with a queen bed and one with two twin XL beds that can be joined as a king.

The lower level has three additional bedrooms:
1. 2 sets of bunk beds (twins on top and fulls on the bottom)

Booking Requirements
• Guest booking must be 25+ years old and provide a government-issued photo ID via email after booking.
* Travel insurance is recommended in the case you would need to cancel your reservation for emergency, illness or travel issues with flights.
General House Rules
• No parties, smoking, drug use, or vaping inside the home.
• Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM.
• Maximum occupancy is 10 guests.
• The booking guest must stay at the property and is responsible for all guests.
• No entry into locked furnace room or closet —this will end your stay immediately.

Respect the Space
• No glitter, hair dye, tanning products, or food dyes.
• No frying foods inside or cooking strong aromatic dishes such as curry or some Indian dishes, the strong smells linger for next guests.
• No holes or tape on walls.
• Furniture must be returned to its original place before checkout.
• Candles are not allowed (fire hazard).
• No standing or jumping on furniture.
• Top bunks have a 300lb weight limit.
• Please don’t let kids operate or touch ceiling fans.

Outdoor & Parking
• Smoking is allowed outside ONLY please extinguish and dispose of cigarette butts in the large trash bin by the garage. There will be an additional $1000 charge if you smoke inside
• No RVs, campers or trailers allowed on the property.
• Driveway fits 2-4 vehicles.

Technology & Safety
• Do not tamper with security cameras, Wi-Fi, or internet equipment.
• Mattress covers must stay on the beds.
• Sprinklers run in the early morning (spring through fall).

Important Notes
• No access to the Garage, Furnace room and one closet in the Kitchen. These are locked and monitored. Patio furniture and fire pit are seasonal items and are stored during cold months

Pet Policy
• Dogs only, under 40 lbs, max 2 dogs.
• Pet Fee is $75 per night.
• No unauthorized pets—this will cancel your reservation.
• Dogs must be crated when left alone and are not allowed on furniture or beds
• Please clean up after your pet; bags available upon request. Excessive clean up after stay can occur additional costs. ( dog hair on furniture or poop not picked up)
• Service animals must be disclosed in advance.

Welcome to Spencer Hill Cabins! We offer two luxury vacation rental homes nestled on a 4 acre pristine property overlooking Lake Wanahoo, one mile north of Wahoo, Nebraska.

Naw-Tee Pine is our 3 bedroom /3 bath cabin finished with knotty pine walls & ceilings, reclaimed barn wood floors and granite counters. All linens are provided.

Main Floor includes:
Large great room with dining for 10 and huge windows with amazing lake views and a large sliding door to the deck with a weber, gas grill.
Master bedroom with a queen log-framed bed and the perfect place to watch the sun rise and a sliding door access to the deck.
Fully equipped kitchen with granite counters.
Bathroom with shower over tub.

Loft includes:
King bed and 2 built-in bunks.
Bathroom with shower over tub.

Lower Level includes:
Bunk bedroom (2 sets of twin beds. Top beds are for children under 80 lbs.)
Full size sofa sleeper.
Bathroom with shower over tub.
Flat screen SMART tv with dvd player and many movies.
Access to patio, fire pit and large yard.

The quiet town of Wahoo is located 1 mile south and offers many conveniences from fast food to restaurants, banks, a bakery, a meat locker and grocery store. The town also has an 18-hole golf course, a large park and swimming pool and is the site of the Saunders County Fair. Omaha's world class Henry Doorly Zoo, the College World Series and the annual Berkshire Hathaway meeting are an hour's drive away. The Wahoo Municipal Airport is also located just 1 mile east.

We are sorry but due to allergy issues we cannot accommodate pets. We also do not permit smoking, excessive drinking or loud parties on the premises at any time.

- "Great getaway. Lots to do at the cabin as well as access attractions around Omaha. The cabin is very well kept and fun for all ages especially for children. Would highly recommend." - "THIS PLACE WAS JUST BREATH TAKING! The photos do not do the beauty of this place and space any justice! We were not prepared for what we were walking into. The best part is the view of the lake from the main floor and the short walk/path down there. There were 11 of us and we stayed for 3 days, 2 nights, not a second went by that we were not enjoying the moment. The experience was one we will never forget. The hosts did a wonderful job making this a warm and welcoming cabin, communication is easy and they are always available for questions or suggestions, the cabin is extremely clean, well stocked with supplies (you really won't need to bring towels, dinnerware, etc.). They also have an appealing selection of dishes and cutlery to use. I felt like our stay was magical, the atmosphere this cabin created allowed us to interact with one another and we misplaced our phones often so no one was really on them! There are tons of board games, a sonos music system to connect to, space to dance, a tv (if you want to bring your own kareoke mic) and follow along. We had three days of absolute fun and the kayaking topped it all off. I highly recommend, think of it like a retreat. If you are coming from a big city to Wahoo, it feels like a long drive, you pass a lot of farmland, seems like you're going to the middle of nowhere and then boom, you enter this Oasis of a town! I can't speak much on restaurants and foods to eat as our party cooked a lot and had a private chef drop in but, there is a very informative binder on restaurants, wildlife viewing, and other things to do. It does get really cold downstairs, there is a space heater and tons of blankets, I mean tons! (look in all the rooms and chests). The single room on the main floor gets really warm when you turn the heat up but if you open the windows you should be fine!"

Our cottage in the woods features 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a beautiful kitchen with quartz countertops and high end GE appliances, an informal dining area, charming living room with cathedral ceilings and most ceiling are covered in eastern Nebraska red cedar, it looks and smells amazing. The property has been updated and was once a barn. It is situated on a 90 acre farm and surrounded by 6 acres of trees. Two large patios where it is easy to entertain and converse. Blackstone flat iron grill. Walking paths. 1/2 mile to Lake Cunningham where you have an 18 hole disc course, kayaking, fishing, bird watching, bike paths and so much more. All hard surface roads to the property with quick and easy access to I 680, 15 minutes to CHI Center, College World Series Stadium, Old Market and airport. 10 minutes to Top Golf and Westroads shopping center and Village Point. Great location, peace and quiet. Commune with nature.

- "We really enjoyed the Rainwood Cottage. Our family of 5 stayed there (with several "adult" children in their early 20's), and our family who live locally came out for dinner and games. We chose it specifically b/c of the zero level entry, which allowed my mom to come in a wheelchair, but we found it to be perfect in many ways. The cottage is beautiful, and easily accomodated our group of 8 for meals and games. The kids enjoyed the yard and the walking paths, and we all greatly enjoyed the beautiful patio and grill. You have everything that you need there (the host has many games and even provided bug spray!) and you feel like you have escaped the city. The 4 bedrooms provide ample sleeping space, and both the indoor and outdoor tables were good for meals and games. The entrance to the property is a little hard to find, and be aware that GPS sends you to the neighbor. Would definitely stay there again!"
