- "Visiting the hotel by ferry from Singapore could not fault the arrangements made and the great location of the hotel and friendly staff who looked after us so well." - "Amazing getaway" - "Truth be told, the property is quite dated. However, they make up with excellent, friendly and authentic service. Staffs (Hotna, Wiwik, Gin etc) are very warm and welcoming and you could tell that they are very genuine. My family was initially not quite happy with the condition of the rooms but the Management was quick to change for us on the next day. Very proactive and attentive. Otherwise, do not expect too much as this is a very resort style decoration. Cassia, which is next door and was opened in 2017, seems more trendy. In terms of dining options, this is quite okay as visitors can always go the neighbouring Banyan Tree Resort or Cassia in addition to the two restaurants/cafe located within the property. The private beach is very well maintained. Scenery is superb, so this is a perfect venue for a short getaway with laid back atmosphere. We tried the Angsana Spa and were very happy and impressed. Everything was so on point and the skills of the spa therapists (Tati and Rose) are one of the best I have come across. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay for my family. Hope to visit this resort again soon."

The service of the staff (notably Lilis, Yusuf, Atomy and Wendy) are excellent and in fact above my expectations: they went the extra mile to make our stay really memorable with romantic decorations for our wedding anniversary and they also prepared two cakes for us (one for our wedding anniversary and another one for my birthday) and they sang me a birthday song. - "Peaceful, great for families " - "The resort was over an hour from the ferry terminal so that was a negative factor for us when considering door-to-door travel. The staff were really fantastic, they definitely made the trip a pleasant experience and did everything to make us welcome and any support we needed. If the staff were not so amazing we would have been disappointed. The breakfast was great. The in-room dining food was ok, chips were often cold and not enjoyable, there was a limited selection of food, good for only 3-4 days. The rooms were of an ok standard, the cleanliness was excellent, and the housekeeping was great too. And the water boys, very fast. The kids rope course was closed, not advised in advance. The ATV and water sports staff were amazing too. Based on what we spent and the travel time though, in hindsight, I would have chosen a place in Phuket, close to restaurants and within 20 minutes of the airport. More variety and similar quality."

There is a lot of room for improvement for the in-house food options. Buffet breakfast was excellent. More Indonesian cuisines could have been included. The mini zoo wasn’t much fun. They just had a few rabbits and a few birds. The Bowling alley needs to be maintained better. The elephant ride was great. The beaches were nice but sadly there were a lot of black tar on the beaches. Removing them from the feet and the foot wear was a daughting task. Overall the villa was good for family relaxation but just that the food and other activities were a bit overpriced. I wish to thank the staff and management for making our stay wonderful.
