- "Pleasant, functional, and efficient" - "This relatively new addition to Bujumbura's hotels is clearly aiming high with excellent standards of service, cleanliness and comfort. The rooms are wonderful with well-fitted bathrooms, good wi-fi everywhere, DSTV and a very comfortable bed. My room had a big balcony overlooking the golf course. The bar and bistro restaurant were fine, nothing too special, but freshly-cooked food which was served unusually promptly. There is also a small fine dining restaurant but I did not try this. The other facilities (spa etc) looked a bit underused and indeed the whole hotel seemed to be having a quiet weekend when I was there. The only oddity is the car park tucked round the back from which you can only enter and exit the hotel by walking through the restaurant - a bit odd if you have lots of bags to carry."

The isolated located is the main draw back - unless you are attending a conference in the hotel, in which case staying at the hotel is a very good option. The guard will follow you to the only local restaurant/bar (200 m) since it is not considered safe to walk on the street on your own. The restaurant staff will walk you back to the hotel.
