- "I had a fantastic stay at Sunset Beach. My room was lovely and was right next to the beach, it was clean, the decor was nice, comfortable bed, with a kettle and mini fridge provided. The staff were all really helpful and friendly and really made my stay at the hotel special. The all inclusive food was very good, I am a pescatarian and loved all of the fish dishes and fresh tuna available everyday along with the lovely salads and fresh fruit.There was also a nice vegetarian options available everyday. I enjoyed the entertainment of an evening which started just after 8pm, there was a variety of traditional drummers and dancers, singers, karaoke night and a fashion show. I would definitely recommend this hotel and am looking forward to retuning next year. "

The single hot plate wasn't working at all, the microwave was making sparkles when turned on, I had a working kettle and that's it. I reported the situation to the front desk and nothing was done. There was cutlery however the drawers in the kitchen were all dusty. The light in the bathroom didn't go off and there were no curtains. What bothered me the most was that the guy at the reception was calling my room to tell me how much he liked me and he also texted me and called me on my mobile. So, so unprofessional. Many guys in the country and the hotel approach girls, but they don't have access to their personal details. Also, the reception supposedly provided Dalasi, however, I was told many times that they didn't have money. The hotel is quite isolated so that was a problem. Ultimately, because of this, I asked the gatekeeper to do me the favor of exchanging my money for me and there were almost D400 missing. I couldn't believe it! Thank God it happened on my last day and I was sooo happy to go home!"

The only thing I would say is there is always a lot of sellers from the markets who come up to you on the beach constantly. The food was good, especially the Sunday bbq. The staff are also super friendly and helpful and just want you to have the best possible stay. The management however were not as friendly and seemed to just walk around the resort only saying hello and speaking to people who were “deluxe” guests. The only problem we had was they originally booked us down as B&B when we had paid for all inclusive so we had an embarrassing confrontation with the bar staff when they told us we couldn’t have drinks or lunch !! But this was very quickly rectified luckily."

- "Enjoyed " - "The hotel is a good place to stay as its near the strip and close to all amenities and the beach. However, the cleaners need to be retrained to clean properly. The sink was dirty, and needed a good scrub and not just a wipe down. We had to ask for soap when it was clear to see it needed replacing. Alot of people complained about the cleanliness of the place. The stairs handle should be wiped down as it was full of dust and spoilt the place. There are too many old men with young girls and underage girls there and the hotel just allows it. The resturant manager is very accomadaing and looked after us well, he is one of the good staff they have. The bar staff are lazy and rude. It would be good if the outside of the hotel was cleaned early in the morning before breakfast and not while having breakfast."
