- "Sunset Reefs is simply extraordinary! From the location to the staff to the food. Our best meals of the week were at Drop the Anchor. I cannot say enough about the amazing experience we had. I’d highly recommend!" - "The service was really very good. Everyone who worked there was very professional, helpful, and pleasant. You can WhatsApp the managers and get nearly immediate replies. The property is small but very well taken care of. It’s a smaller (boutique) hotel so if feels like a mansion with a half-dozen or so rooms. All the rooms face the same way. The staff were happy to arrange taxis and recommend delivery restaurants. The infinity pool is small but more than enough. The staff will set up beach chairs and pool chairs for you. They’ll bring over water if they see you don’t have any. A couple of reasons that I deducted slightly more than one star is the value. I paid around what I’d pay for the Nevis Four Seasons. This boutique was nice but overpriced; I think that it cost double what it should. To be clear, I’m not saying that the price was too high— I’m saying that the price was too high for what you get (value). On top of the room rates there were a lot of service charges ($175/night for VAT, fees, and other charges). Some of this may be legally required (VAT) but not sure about the rest. I didn’t deduct for this because of the uncertainty. You’ll like this hotel if you’re looking for a boutique experience with lovely people. But you won’t if you’re used to a luxury resort with multiple restaurants or nearby places to visit. "

- "The bed was terrible, as hard as sleeping on the floor. Try to sleep side ways and wake up broken no matter which side or flat. The bathroom was not so clean and when you open the faucet the smell was horrible. It was ok clean the room, but you could feel it was not cleaned properly, there was like little dirts, closets but no hangers, and so much dust in every corner and the walls and isles like an abandon area and this place that is new. I mean mattress need to be hard but this was unbelievable. Then the bathroom door in glass, oh Lord couldn't sleep with the major light coming in ahhhh. Then I told the security I'm leaving at 7am, he said you need to wait for someone to check the room before you go. Really! Well too bad if you are not by my door at 6;50am, so I left the key with the security guard. This place is not a hotel at all, it was apartments for rent and they are doing it all supposedly. But, if you rent a unit for hotel, then you need to have; hangers, blowers, iron, extra soap, paper towels and extra towels if no cleaning applies. Then also, provide a towel specifically for the floor***** "

The home is well appointed with amenities in the kitchen and bathrooms, and lots of board games to entertain in downtimes. Plenty of space for family meals and hangouts. The common areas are open air which was such a treat to feel the warm breeze all day. Each bedroom is air conditioned and has comfy beds. The pool is a great size and super private from neighbours (with slide and diving board, too!). Water Taxis to Nevis, private boat charters and deep sea fishing charters are also available from Reggae Beach bar and the Drive on car Ferry to Nevis is a 5 minute drive away at Majors Bay. The New Park Hyatt with 3 restaurants and amazing Spa are a 5 minutes drive. The beautiful Christophe Harbor Pavilion beach club/restaurant is a 5 minute drive away, open for lunch and dinner, but reservations are required. An eight minute drive will take you to the amazing Salt Plage waterfront bar with casual dining over the water. An amazing spot for sunset drinks and tapas in a casual but sophisticated style. Only open in the evenings. The Christophe Harbour Marina with Pepe's Cafe and great shopping is a fun stop 8 minutes drive away. The elegant Carambola beach restaurant is 15 minutes drive away and open for lunch and dinners.

Frigate Bay, is an 18 minute drive away where you will find The St Kitts Marriott Resort and casino, as well as a variety of restaurants, shops, health spa, fitness center and 18 hole championship golf course.

- "My husband and I just returned for a spectacular week at the Ocean Song Cottage on Turtle Beach. This was our first time to Saint Kitts and it definitely won’t be our last. Franklin, the property manager, was easy going, flexible and kind. He was always readily available via WhatsApp. The cottage itself looks out over breathtaking views. I loved doing my workouts on the private patio, taking a dip in the soaking tub and lounging on the chairs on the days we decided to not head to the beach. The outdoor shower is amazing and the views of Nevis are incredible! We even enjoyed our little monkey friends who typically visited us in the morning hours. It was extremely quiet and private for a couple to enjoy time together. We would definitely stay here again and look forward to bringing our families here in the near future to hopefully the Ocean Song Villa that is next door!"

We rented scooters on Nevis (the guys name is Kevin and he's super cool) and had a blast exploring and seeing all the wonderful sights. Of note to see is Lovers Beach. An awesome beach that sea turtles nest on during nesting season, as well as the numerous estates surrounding the island. On St Kitts be sure to check out Brimstone Fort. ACCOMMODATIONS: Want to just kick back and relax? Our new, architecturally-designed home is called Seas-the-Moment. We often have found ourselves unable to leave the veranda from breakfast time until mid-afternoon. Some days we never left! We’d be reading, talking, eating, sleeping and playing games. The talking part was invariably about what we should do that morning for our activity. Sometimes we would walk the 100 yards down the hill to Turtle Beach and go snorkeling on the reef. If we went out to the left of the reef, we would invariably see two to three green turtles (most likely the reason this quiet bay got its name). If we felt really energetic, we’d jump in the car and drive 5 minutes to Sandy Bank beach and go boogie-boarding.

Our home is situated on a hill above Turtle Beach, on the southernmost tip of St. Kitts, looking across the 2 mile ocean Narrows to Nevis and the 3,000’ Mt. Nevis. The house is angled so it catches the tropical breezes just right. The only sounds one falls to sleep or awakens to are the sounds of nature. We have a two-car parking area off the hill. The wrought iron gates leads you down to the rear open courtyard of tiles, white rounded stone, plantings and an outdoor shower area.

MAIN FLOOR: From the rear courtyard, the French doors open up to the living room area, taking your eyes directly to the 18’ wide glass Nanadoor that opens up to the veranda and the breathtaking views of Mt. Nevis across the Caribbean waters.
Contiguous to the right of the living room is the fully equipped gourmet kitchen. The gas stove/electric oven is located in a center island looking out through another set of French glass doors to the infinity edge pool and across the blue waters to Nevis. Looking back into the kitchen from the pool are five teak high-stools facing the kitchen bar. The underside of the bar is faced with local natural stone as is the wall around the window sink that looks into the rear courtyard. All stonework accented throughout our home and the walls outside were completed by Sandy Point, the islands premier stone mason. The laundry and powder room are also on this floor. A TV/music center joins the living area with the kitchen (bring your i-Pods). The remaining accents of quartz counter tops, Florida porcelain tile (throughout our home), teak furniture by Kingly-Bate and vaulted ceilings with three fans complete the main living area.

The five-panel glass Nanadoor slides open in concertina fashion to the left, leaving an expanse of indoor/outdoor living between living room, veranda and sun deck. Several lounge chairs and other seating areas are located on the veranda. We always move our 6-8 person teak dining table and chairs outside for daytime games, reading, and evening dinners under the stars. We used stainless steel railings around the veranda and pool to minimize disruption to the eyes as you take in the views.

The master bedroom has a queen bed, A/C, vaulted ceilings and fan, and en-suite bathroom with walk-in shower/window looking out to Nevis. The master bedroom on this floor with its own balcony, and the guest bedrooms down stairs, all have the same beautiful view. A large walk-in closet off the master bedroom stores sheets, towels and supplies while still giving space for clothing and suitcases, etc.

DOWNSTAIRS: Two guest bedrooms have either a queen or two extra-long twins beds (can convert to one King) and share a bathroom and walk-in shower. Both have A/C, ceiling fans. Guests can exit the downstairs hallway to the quiet veranda and take in the views by the landscaped garden.

Hurricane shutters are on all windows for both security when our home is vacated, but also for those who can’t abide to be woken up by the splendor of sunrise! Like many islands, power and water outages are not unheard of, so we have equipped our home with a liquid propane generator large enough to automatically cope with all electrical house needs. Mains water comes to the house through an 800gal cistern, so even with a water break, the house supply should not be uninterrupted. For our peace-of-mind, and yours, we have a 24/7 external video surveillance camera system.

The villa is maintained beautifully by an on-island Property Manager (also our Project Manager for construction) who knows the building very well. He can be contacted in the rare event you have any building issues. A gardener and pool tech will service the property before your arrival as will our wonderful housekeeper, who will provide cleaning and laundry service before your arrival. Additional services can be arranged directly through the building manager.

This spacious 2nd floor one bedroom apartment is right on Turtle Beach St. Kitts. This 2nd floor apartment is very private and peaceful directly on the beach. There is no better location on St Kitts for snorkeling the best accessible coral reef right on your door step. Excellent beach combing along the shore line and tidal pools. This apartment is fully self contained, comprising of a bedroom, kitchenette, two sitting rooms, with one sofa bed, one twin day bed, a balcony over the beach, wireless internet, and cable TV.
The bedroom is air-conditioned with ceiling fan, and fully screened for those who like to sleep with sounds of the sea and fresh tropical air. - "This place is beyond what my limited vocabulary can describe!! The breathtaking views and unparalleled beauty of what we found at Turtle Beach is beyond description. We just returned from 10 days of trying to wrap our heads around our blessing that we found this hidden gem. Of course we took advantage of the Caribbean reefs and wrecks for scuba diving as well as we ventured out on our own to climb up Mount Liamugia in our rented jeep (Bullseye rental deserves, 1 million stars as well for their service and response.) but the most enjoyable part of our trip was being at the cottage…from sitting on one of the many beautiful seating areas around the cottage and gazing upon Nevis to exploring the private expanse of the natural beach to snorkeling on the shallow reefs in Mosquito Bay. Yes, it was Africa hot, but I chose to go in August for my birthday adventure. The Winward tradewinds were glorious and cooled us but when we needed more, the master bedroom was another beautiful place to rest and chill with its charming decor and AC!! Turtle Beach in its natural state was beautiful! Every day was a new canvas for God to display His beautiful work. The seaweed would come and go as as the tides and trade winds changed direction. We were fortunate to have Gert go north but we were prepared to extend our stay to take in more!! We can’t thank our hosts enough for sharing their home with us. Our Gorgeous West Indian Style home is located at the end of the most beautiful drive over the mountains and hills of the stunning SE Peninsula.

We are built into the hill just above Turtle Beach with a short walk to the beach and great snorkeling. The Car Park and Storage Shed is just off the road. From the Car Park, Enter through a "Kittitian" Stone entry, go down the tilled stairs, follow the winding path through a mature Island Garden entry, to the West Indian main entrance.

Beyond the entrance is a Garden Eating area with beautiful Bougainvilleas, palm trees,, Fragrant Jasmine, Table and Chars under an umbrella, on a tiled deck, with views out 3 arched openings, to the tip of the Island and the Ocean.

Entrance takes you into the main, Indoor Open Living Area with couch, chair, ottoman, rocker, and Entertainment Center, with 40 inch flat screen and full cable / WiFi. Open Chef's Kitchen, with Stainless appliances, large sit-at Island with prep-sink, 3 stools. Gas stove and Kitchen Work station face a window overlooking the Ocean, Nevis, and Boobie Island. The window opens onto the outside Bar & Grill Area.

A Large Master Bedroom with AC, En Suite and King size bed is located off the left side of the main living area. High ceilings with traditional West Indian exposed, "Pickled" wood ceilings. There are 2 all glass French doors, one opening onto a small deck, facing Nevis and the Ocean , and the other opening onto the pool deck. There is a desk and chair. Beautifully tiled En Suite has a double vanity, shower and bath with door to outside shower which has opening facing Nevis...Good way to start the day or shower under the sunset! Through the bath enter a walk-in, his and her closet.

To the right of the kitchen is a small hall with laundry area and beautifully tiled quest bath. This bath also has door to outdoor tiled shower under the stars!

Off hall is upstairs Guest Bedroom with Queen Bed, small closet, lots of drawer storage, AC, Glass French doors looking out at Nevis and ocean that opens onto the pool deck.

Out through the 2 sets of Nevis made [with local hardwoods] French Doors, brings you from the Main Indoor Living Space, to the Main Outdoor Living Space. This space comprises of a roof covered 45 foot by 25 foot space and an open sunning / pool area. Under the roof;
1] is a Reading Area; with a couple very comfortable chairs, ottomans, table with lamp.
2] a Dining Area; High end Teak Table and chairs that seats 10.
3] Bar & Grill Area; A 4 stool Corner Bar made with local stones off the lot. Part of bar runs in front of windows open into the kitchen. Behind other corner of bar is liquor & glass set-up with prep area and under neath beer and wine frig.
4] Next to Bar is stainless Gas Grill and cooking area.
Sun Deck;
Located in front of Cover Outdoor Living space is the sun deck with 2 comfortable padded Chaise, Seating area, 12 x 8 foot infinity edge plunge pool with built in bench seats on 2 sides. The pool is 4 feet deep on one end and 8 feet deep on the other.

To the back left of the main living area is a staircase leading to the 2 downstairs bedrooms;
Straight ahead is the "Over Flow bedroom"with AC. It's large, with a Queen Bed, TV entertainer center, Small dining table and 2 chairs, room on the floor for a couple of blow-up mattresses. There is an all glass French Door that looks out at Nevis and opens onto a deck with table & chairs under an umbrella. A large En-suite Bath with shower is located in the back. of room.

At the foot of the stairs to the left is the spacious Garden Bedroom with AC, Queen Bed, large built in closet, 2 chest of drawers, All Glass French Door that open onto a deck looking out over the Coconut Trees, Banana trees, pretty Bougainvillea, Philipe Alamandas, and grasses in the rock garden. There is a large En-suite Bathroom with shower.

Primary renter must be 25+ years of age.

- "We are already missing the wonderful views of the Nevis and the ocean. The house is in a great location with access to numerous beaches and the ferries/taxis to Nevis. The Atlantic side of the island had summer seaweed issues but the Caribbean side was seaweed free and our favorite was the beach at the Carambola beach club. We went several days when no cruise ships were in port and had the place to ourselves. On Nevis, Chrishi beach club and the Yatchman grill are worth spending a day at when the cruise ships come to St Kitts if you want to avoid the crowds. The property was well stocked and the location felt very safe to us. AC worked well in all the bedrooms and we certainly needed it with the summer weather. The two outdoor showers are a nice touch and the pool was great for a refreshing dip. Dwayne the property manager made renting a Jeep and check in painless. He also had the home stocked with some groceries ahead of time to make our arrival even easier."

Turtle Beach is not a groomed beach and often has seaweed. When calm it has one of the best reefs on St Kitts accessible by land. We live in a very quiet residential area and our beach does not attract cruise ships. Often you may only see a handful of other people on this unspoiled natural beach.

A 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive will lead you to Reggae Beach Bar & Grill at Cockleshell Bay. Here you can enjoy complimentary beach chairs and umbrellas. Water Taxis and private boat charters to Nevis are also available to hire from Reggae Beach. Cockleshell Bay Beach is home to Spice Mill Restaurant and the Park Hyatt Resort is located at Banana Bay Beach close by.

Other beaches that are great to explore and enjoy on the peninsula include Banana Bay, Majors Bay, Sandy Bank Bay and South Friar's Bay. Frigate Bay is a 15 minute drive away where you will find The St Kitts Marriott Resort and Casino, as well as a variety of restaurants, shops, health spa, fitness center and an18 hole championship golf course.

- "Dynamic weather! ... Sun soaked looking over the Atlantic! (Rough and Rugged) …... Wow so beautiful! ... Nature... Peaceful and remote!!! Lots of little cute monkeys around here. This unit is quite spacious (more than I thought: electrical/ water/shower(s) … all solid!) and has a beautiful long deck to enjoy views of the ocean and Nevis in the distance, not to mention the stars at night… I’m so comfortable here! The Clouds, (Atmospheric Systems rolling in off the ocean) the ‘Stars’ ... Spectacular!!!!!!!... ‘Love you Venus’... So beautiful here, and so are the PEOPLE!! My God such natural beauty! … I LOVE this part of St. Kitts. I was lucky enough to experience a few late-night heavy rainfalls... very dramatic and comforting to be able to walk the length ‘back and forth’ of the expansive deck, peering through the coconut trees and across the ocean... Shelter! ……. Walk and run for miles (any day you care/ safe!) … ‘Reggae Beach Bar’ is located rather close by through secret pathway off the beach (which is perhaps 2 minutes from the front door) …. Truly the ‘best of people’ and the food is excellent!!! (Ribs/Lobster… Wow!) After several weeks here on this side of this island I finally learned how to use my front door key, …. Can you say this where you live??????? I doubt it! (Unnecessary, and only just to learn!... Ha!!! Safe!). Not bad indeed!!!! This Family is great … I needed to pound out some Conch for cooking … sent a ‘portal message’ and received a hammer within the hour (Thanks Ava!). I will be back! A magnificent escape from the rest of the world!"

A 2 bedroom, 3-bathroom house located on Turtle Beach on the South East Peninsula of St. Kitts. There are only 2 houses on this beach and we are the only 2 bedroom and 3 bedroom house on the beach. It is a very private and peaceful beach full of lots of sea life and pelicans and sandpipers. A 3rd bedroom recently renovated is located downstairs off of the atrium and can be added for an extra nightly charge of $125.00 per night. If rented as a 2 bedroom, the 2 bedrooms are upstairs as you enter the main house to the right. A staircase leads you up to the dining/living & kitchen area which is all open concept. There is an A/C unit in this area as well as 2 ceiling fans. The balcony is off of the living area & 2 French doors open out to an impressive view of Nevis & Booby Island. There is a sectional outdoor sofa along with a table & 4 chairs out there which are perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or to watch the pelicans dive for their breakfast and dinner. We also have an incredible sunrise view which can be seen from both patios or from the beach. We also have a very comfy hammock in the corner.
The dining area has a table with 6 chairs. In the living room there is a sofa, loveseat & an armchair. The smart TV is in the armoire in the living room. To our American visitors we highly recommend bringing your own Fire Stick so you can access all your favorite shows. We do have the premium cable package as well so there are lots of options if needed for tv watching. We also have the highest internet speed you can get on the island in case working remotely is needed. This has been tested many times by us.
The kitchen has place settings for 8 people & glasses (both glass & plastic for the beach). There is a fridge, electric stove top with oven, microwave oven and dishwasher. There is a drip coffee pot, electric kettle, toaster and blender. The kitchen is fully kitted out with all you need for making your own meals including a few basic spices.
More about the bedrooms: The master bedroom faces the Caribbean Sea/Channel & Nevis. There is a King bed with all bedding & pillows & blankets provided. An interesting feature is a Jacuzzi tub in the corner of this room which looks out over the water. There is an air conditioner in this bedroom as well as a ceiling fan. There is a chest of drawers, a mirror, a chair, luggage rack and a bench as well as a large closet for hanging clothes. The bathroom is ensuite & has a shower, toilet & double vanity with lots of cupboards for storage. We supply a hair dryer as well.
The upstairs guest bedroom is on the other side of the master bedroom separated by a foyer. One of the windows looks towards the water & Nevis and the other one looks towards the hills. This room has a king bed with all bedding, pillows & blankets provided. The king bed can be converted to 2 twin beds upon request before arrival. There is a chest of drawers, mirror, chair, luggage rack as well as a closet for hanging clothes. The bathroom is also ensuite as there is a privacy door by the foyer. This bathroom has a shower, toilet & single vanity with storage space.
More about the entrance to the property: When you enter the front door there is an atrium area which takes you out to a huge downstairs patio with lots of seating options including 2 picnic tables & benches, sectional sofa, built in perimeter seating & a propane BBQ grill. There is also an outdoor shower. There are 4 beach lounge chairs, 4 outdoor plastic Adirondack style chairs & 2 small plastic side tables which are provided for the use of our guests. We have also provided 2 inflatable Stand Up Paddleboards (SUP's). They are impressively sturdy & very light to carry down to the water. We also provide 2 life jackets (1 men's large & 1 women's medium). We have 4 snorkel gear sets. There is also a small basic “beach” kitchen off of the atrium where there is a fridge & a sink. This is perfect for use during the day when you are at the beach & need a cold Carib beer or a rum punch! We also have 2 different sized coolers for your use. Our 3rd bathroom is next to the downstairs kitchen. If the house is rented as a 3 bedroom house the newly added 3rd bedroom is downstairs and uses this 3rd bathroom. This bedroom is air conditioned and has a ceiling fan as well.
Access to the beach is within steps of our downstairs patio. Hopefully the photos can give a good perspective. We have a white picket gate that leads out to what is typically a very private and peaceful beach. The reef system in front of our house is quite shallow
and we are lucky to have many different species of fish & turtles. Please be respectful of our beach as it is a turtle nesting beach & as such must be protected. It is also an incredible spot for wind surfing, wind foiling, kite surfing & kite foiling on a windy day.
The location of our beach house is what makes this a perfect spot. There are restaurants & bars within a 5-10 minute drive. A car is a must as the location of our beach house is about a 20 minute drive from the airport over what is known as the South East Peninsula (SEP). It truly is a spectacular drive as you will have the Atlantic Ocean on your left & the Caribbean Sea on your right. Along the way you will see signs for some great restaurants & bars including Spice Mill, Shipwreck & Reggae Beach just to name a few. You can also catch a ferry over to Nevis from the dock at Reggae Beach which we highly recommend for a day trip.

- "Kim and Max were awesome! This was my family’s first trip to St Kitts. They were helpful from the time we booked until we left. The house and beach were just as pretty as the pictures. It was very private and secluded which was perfect for our family. I was 100% satisfied with our visit." - "This place was wonderful, and just what my wife and I needed for some upscale but personal time off. Located at the far end of St. Kitts (an island of very cordial and happy people) the Turtle Beach location is just like the cover photo shows. Every day, we would walk the 50 feet from the house to the (essentially private) beach to lie back and relax. If we needed lunch, we'd drive to the Raggae Beach Bar at the next beach to have shrimp, lobster, whatever we liked plus drinks in a friendly and uncrowded shaded restaurant setting - again right on the beach. The two bedroom AC units blow very cold air, enough to somewhat cool the living room. We understand the owners will be installing a full-house air conditioner soon. Built for relaxing, there are numerous comfy couches inside and outside on good-sized upper and lower decks, and even a separate bathroom and kitchen downstairs for teh beach and outside areas. Owners were 'over the top' in communication, and in providing everything you could imagine including masks, fins & snorkels, stand up waterboards, towels, cushions, etc. There were 2 or 3 kinds of coffee makers and Starbucks coffee waiting for us, a blender, an ice-maker for making filtered-water ice, etc. Every type of kitchen appliance, pt, pan, dish, etc. you might need. The two owners were wonderful and totally on top of any communication needs. This was our third time in St Kitts, and the home was teh BEST! We will definitely be returning!!"

The entire villa is well appointed with anything we needed. The property is well maintained and the location is very safe. We had a small medical emergency and our host was quick to respond and direct us to the appropriate care on the island. We were treated very well with the right care for the situation. - "Very secluded bungalow at the south of the island next to The Pavillion (restaurant with VERY limited hours in off season). We were there in off-season so didn't see many people around, but the beach was amazing and basically had it to ourselves. This property is about 10 minutes from town so plan accordingly. They provided coffee & cream, water, other beverages. Not realistic to cook there so need to have snacks and plan to eat out or get takeout. overall great stay."

The villa is in located in the Sandy Bank Neighborhood Enclave, which is conveniently just a 5-minute walk away from Sandy Bank Beach and the Christophe Harbour Pavilion Beach Club.

Within the Sandy Bank Bay Neighborhood Enclave you will find the exclusive Christophe Harbour Pavilion Beach Club, which guests may request and pay for guest passes, subject to availability. Other nearby beaches to explore are include Cockleshell Beach, Banana Bay, Majors Bay and South Friar's Bay - the home of the famous Shipwreck Bar and Grill.

Frigate Bay and Basseterre are also within easy reach by car and our sister island of Nevis can easily be accessed by sea taxi from Cockleshell Bay.

Each villa which has its own designated parking area for two normal sized vehicles, any additional parking would needed to be the permission of Christopher Harbour, either street parking or on undeveloped land.

We recommend renting a car as you likely find yourself driving to destinations between the peninsula and Frigate Bay. You can easily take a taxi from the airport and to most places, though if you are going to be getting around a lot then you may want to rent a car as the cost of taxis can add up very quickly on island. Several of the popular bars and restaurants are on the Southeast Peninsula where the villa is located. Others are in Frigate Bay which is about a 15 minute drive.

A 3 bedroom, 3-bathroom house located on Turtle Beach on the South East Peninsula of St. Kitts. There are only 2 houses on this beach and we are the only 3 bedroom house on the beach. It is a very private and peaceful beach full of lots of sea life and pelicans and sandpipers. This house can also be rented as a 2 bedroom, 3 bathroom house. If rented as a 3 bedroom, there are 2 bedrooms upstairs as you enter the main house to the right. The 3rd bedroom and bathroom are downstairs off of the atrium. A staircase leads you up to the dining/living & kitchen area which is all open concept. There is an A/C unit in this area as well as 2 ceiling fans. The balcony is off of the living area & 2 French doors open out to an impressive view of Nevis & Booby Island. There is a sectional outdoor sofa along with a table & 4 chairs out there which are perfect for enjoying your morning coffee or to watch the pelicans dive for their breakfast and dinner. We also have an incredible sunrise view which can be seen from both patios or from the beach. We also have a very comfy hammock in the corner.
The dining area has a table with 6 chairs. In the living room there is a sofa, loveseat & an armchair. The smart TV is in the armoire in the living room. To our American visitors we highly recommend bringing your own Fire Stick so you can access all your favorite shows. We do have the premium cable package as well so there are lots of options if needed for tv watching. We also have the highest internet speed you can get on the island in case working remotely is needed. This has been tested many times by us.
The kitchen has place settings for 8 people & glasses (both glass & plastic for the beach). There is a fridge, electric stove top with oven, microwave oven and dishwasher. There is a drip coffee pot, electric kettle, toaster and blender. The kitchen is fully kitted out with all you need for making your own meals including a few basic spices.
More about the bedrooms: The master bedroom faces the Caribbean Sea/Channel & Nevis. There is a King bed with all bedding & pillows & blankets provided. An interesting feature is a Jacuzzi tub in the corner of this room which looks out over the water. There is an air conditioner in this bedroom as well as a ceiling fan. There is a chest of drawers, a mirror, a chair, luggage rack and a bench as well as a large closet for hanging clothes. The bathroom is ensuite & has a shower, toilet & double vanity with lots of cupboards for storage. We supply a hair dryer as well.
The upstairs guest bedroom is on the other side of the master bedroom separated by a foyer. One of the windows looks towards the water & Nevis and the other one looks towards the hills. This room has a king bed with all bedding, pillows & blankets provided. The king bed can be converted to 2 twin beds upon request before arrival. There is a chest of drawers, mirror, chair, luggage rack as well as a closet for hanging clothes. The bathroom is also ensuite as there is a privacy door by the foyer. This bathroom has a shower, toilet & single vanity with storage space.
The 3rd bedroom is downstairs with a window that looks out to the sea and Nevis and the other window looks out to the side of our property. This room has a king bed with all bedding, pillows and blankets provided. The king bed can be converted to 2 twin beds upon request before arrival. There is a chest of drawers, mirror, chair, luggage rack as well as a large closet for hanging clothes. This bedroom is air conditioned and has a ceiling fan as well. The bathroom is right next to the bedroom and there is a privacy door that can be closed off from the atrium. This bathroom has a shower, toilet and single vanity with storage space.
More about the entrance to the property: When you enter the front door there is an atrium area which takes you out to a huge downstairs patio with lots of seating options including 2 picnic tables & benches, sectional sofa, built in perimeter seating & a propane BBQ grill. There is also an outdoor shower. There are 4 beach lounge chairs, 4 outdoor plastic Adirondack style chairs & 2 small plastic side tables which are provided for the use of our guests. We have also provided 2 inflatable Stand Up Paddleboards (SUP's). They are impressively sturdy & very light to carry down to the water. We also provide 2 life jackets (1 men's large & 1 women's medium). We have 4 snorkel gear sets. There is also a small basic “beach” kitchen off of the atrium where there is a fridge & a sink. This is perfect for use during the day when you are at the beach & need a cold Carib beer or a rum punch! We also have 2 different sized coolers for your use. Our 3rd bathroom is next to the downstairs kitchen.
Access to the beach is within steps of our downstairs patio. Hopefully the photos can give a good perspective. We have a white picket gate that leads out to what is typically a very private and peaceful beach. The reef system in front of our house is quite shallow
and we are lucky to have many different species of fish & turtles. Please be respectful of our beach as it is a turtle nesting beach & as such must be protected. It is also an incredible spot for wind surfing, wind foiling, kite surfing & kite foiling on a windy day.
The location of our beach house is what makes this a perfect spot. There are restaurants & bars within a 5-10 minute drive. A car is a must as the location of our beach house is about a 20 minute drive from the airport over what is known as the South East Peninsula (SEP). It truly is a spectacular drive as you will have the Atlantic Ocean on your left & the Caribbean Sea on your right. Along the way you will see signs for some great restaurants & bars including Spice Mill, Shipwreck & Reggae Beach just to name a few. You can also catch a ferry over to Nevis from the dock at Reggae Beach or the Park Hyatt Hotel which we highly recommend for a day trip.
