- "Photoshop make mágic.... " - "I liked the hotel and the rooms; it was affordable. However, I didn’t like the way the lady at the reception talked to me like she was the owner of that place. Please train your staff in customer service. Also, she refused to accept my U.S. passport, and I had to pay taxes for my stay, even though I told them my entry date to Peru. Their excuse was that it’s because I’m Peruvian. - "We had an awesome stay in the Gran Hotel Bolivar. It is a hotel with an antique charme and we loved hanging out a bit in the yard or the lobby premises. Breakfast was very rich and had many options - even Maca powder. The room and bathroom as well was spacious and the bed probably among the best we ever had in a hotel. The passion for this business can be felt in each person and even the owner himself is still very involved and helped us even to get to our terminal in the midst of the night. Location wise the hotel is in the city center perfectly a parallel street away from the big noises, but just a minute walk to it. I dont know other hotels in Trujillo,but we would stay again only in the Gran Bolivar if we were to come back. (Collectivo stops to Huanchaco/Chan Chan are as well right around the corner)"
