We had one of the more traditional rooms which was cosy and had a great view of the lake and We had a kitchen which was handy. We had a log burner and could have done with more kindling than what was supplied. Heads up- A gentleman came to collect room tax, no issue but could have been done at check in. Hallstatt is worth seeing and is beautiful from the sky walk. My advice is to wake up early and see the town before the coaches of people arrive. "
