GETTING TO THE PROPERTY:
The property can be reached via road and by train (Central Mumbai local)

It is approximately 80 km from Mumbai, 100 km from Pune, 50 km from Panvel, and 55 km from Kalyan, making it a convenient driving distance from the city.

If you travel via train, alight at Karjat station and come by rickshaw ( 3-wheeler) which is ~45min for the 25km and a fare of Rs 400-500/-

THE VICINITY:-
You are near the mountain range, a remote area and after the last village on the route of Dhamni! The nearest villages are 15-20min away (Kothimbe/ Kashele) to get to a grocery store. Restaurants are ~30m away, therefore please plan for your meals considering distances and time.

Network Connections are sparse here & Jio probably works the best. The wifi in the apartment will however keep you connected!

The area faces occasional power outages, especially more in the rainy season. The Apartment is hence equipped with an inverter to keep the basic lights & fan going. Please note that the fan speed slows down on backup power.

THE RESORT:-
There is Free Parking available right after you enter the Property.

You will have full access to the common swimming pool during your stay.

For food options, your Host will share details of some restaurants that offer home delivery. You can also choose to make light meals in the room’s equipped kitchenette. Terracotta (closed on Tuesday) is the resort's in-house mini restaurant that serves a basic menu of meals and snacks. It’s best only for Tea/Snacks which you can order & eat in the restaurant itself. The Caretaker can also assist with delivery runs for a convenience fee. We highly recommend carrying snacks or ready-to-eat meals in the Apartment.

We have 3 adjacent studios, Scenic Solitude, Hilltop Hideaway & Whispering Waterfall, ideal for a group of up to 9-10 people. These can be booked individually or together under the listing The Great Escape.

Each studio can sleep max 3 adults / 2 adults & 2 kids (1 kid under 10 is free).

The space
How to reach
You can come by own car or bike. Rickshaws & taxis are also available from Karjat/ Neral station, the distance is ~24-25 km. Rickshaws charge ~Rs 500-550 one way and taxis ~Rs 700-800 one-way. The resort is ~11 km off the Karjat-Murbad state highway (from Karjat the turn is about 4-5 km after Kadav and before Kashele, from Murbad side you can turn left at Kashele). Look for Holiday Maiyaan Cloud_Residence on Google Maps
Post booking we can provide you contact nos of some auto and taxi service providers who can ferry you from Karjat station to Maiyaan and back. We do not know them personally. We are just providing the numbers for your convenience. You may connect with them or make your own arrangements.

Inside the resort
• The room keys will be provided by our caretaker Nitin. There is no self-check-in or check-out option.
• The parking lot is near the entrance. You may drop your luggage near the A2 building and then go to park the car/ bike in the designated area.
• Common amenities include a swimming pool and badminton court which are accessible to all guests of Holiday Maiyaan.
• Usage of the swimming pool is at your own risk. There is no lifeguard. The swimming pool area does not have changing rooms or shower area.

Connectivity
• Airtel mobile signal works in the area. Jio works but network is not so good. VI network is very poor.
• Each apartment has a separate Wi-Fi connection. The Wi-Fi works except in case of occasional outages.

• Early check-in or late checkout may be allowed for an extra charge, if possible. Please discuss the same with us in advance.

• Please note that we are in a rural area there may be power cuts/ low voltage. In such cases, the inverter will provide sufficient power for Wi-Fi, lights, and fan for a few hours. However, AC, microwave, mini fridge, induction stove, kettle and boiler will not work on inverter.
• The resort is in a green zone & there may be insects around, especially in evening / night. The French windows have mosquito nets to keep them out. We also provide mosquito repellents in case needed.

• The switchboard near the main door has a switch for the tube light which is a dual light – white and yellow. You can toggle between the 2 modes using the switch as per your preference.
• The switch for the lamp and fan is next to the bed and above the sofa.
• The switch for stabilizer for the AC is next to the curtains along with the switch for the balcony lights. AC can be switched on only after stabilizer shows ‘LO’.
• The remote for AC and TV would be either on the TV shelf or in the side-table drawer.

• However, there are options that we are mentioning here.
• There is a restaurant on the campus, run independently by the developer.
o This restaurant has a limited menu - both veg and non-veg (chicken) is served.
o Food is prepared fresh, so please order at least 45 minutes beforehand.
o Room service charges are applicable if food is to be delivered to the room.
o Guests are requested to place the order directly with the restaurant and eat at the restaurant. Even if food is to be ordered to the room, please co-ordinate directly. Our caretaker may facilitate the order placement if you give him proper written instructions. This is to prevent any confusion which has led to inconvenience to guests in the past.

Restaurant kitchen timings – Last order for lunch: 2pm, snacks order: 5-7pm, last order for dinner: 7:30pm. So please order accordingly.
You can also eat at dhabas like Nisarg dhaba, etc which are 20 mins away by car / bike.
The restaurant is closed for lunch and dinner on Tuesdays. If you plan to stay on Tuesday we suggest you have lunch on the way. Our caretaker can fetch dinner for you from Kashele/ Ambivali for a delivery charge.

We have two barbeque options available for your use:

1. *Drum Barbeque*: This option allows for both wood and coal usage. Please note that using this barbeque will incur an additional charge of ₹1,000. (We will provide 2 KG of Coal)

2. *Small Barbeque*: This option is limited to coal usage only and is available for ₹500. (We will provide 1 KG of Coal)

Please let us know in advance if you'd like to use either of these barbeque options, so we can make the necessary arrangements.

Please be aware that power fluctuations are common in Karjat. However, we've taken steps to minimize any inconvenience: our inverter provides 6-8 hours of backup power. (Note - Inverter doesn't supports AC/Fridge/Geyser/Aquaguard)

For any assistance or concerns, one of us will always be available by phone or message. Additionally, our on-site caretaker is on hand to address any urgent needs. Please allow a minimum of one hour's notice for any requests.

Our kitchen is equipped with an induction cooktop and basic utensils for your convenience. You're welcome to use these facilities, but please ensure you clean up after use.

For your dining needs, we recommend the following options:

1. Bliss Resort's in-house restaurant: Savor our delicious cuisine, with weekend buffet options available by prior arrangement. Note that prices are slightly higher for this service. As it's an in-house restaurant and the only hygiene-certified option in the area, you might experience denial during peak hours or rush days.

2. Bombay Baithak: Enjoy good food at affordable prices! They offer delivery with a charge of ₹150-200. To get your order between 2-3 pm, please place it by 12:30 pm. Alternatively, you can drive to collect your order yourself, which is 8 km away - a preferable option to avoid delivery charges and also to get the food early as per your requirement


3. Nisarg Dhaba: Relish tasty meals at value-for-money prices. Note that delivery is not available from this restaurant. You can place an order and drive to collect it yourself - a convenient option.

4. We also have a lady who prepares home-cooked meals, which are not only delicious but also reasonably priced. We highly recommend this option to our guests - she cooks fresh meals at a great rate compared to other options and delivers right to our place.

Our place is in a residence resort Holiday Maiyaan, located in Dhamni Village, Karjat. Isolated & surrounded by nature & hills, it is a perfect getaway from the hustle & bustle of city life.

We have 3 adjacent studios, Scenic Solitude, Hilltop Hideaway & Whispering Waterfall, ideal for a group of up to 9-10 people. These can be booked individually or together under the listing The Great Escape.

Each studio can sleep max 3 adults / 2 adults & 2 kids (1 kid under 10 is free).

How to reach
You can come by own car or bike. Rickshaws & taxis are also available from Karjat/ Neral station, the distance is ~24-25 km. Rickshaws charge ~Rs 500-550 one way and taxis ~Rs 700-800 one-way. The resort is ~11 km off the Karjat-Murbad state highway (from Karjat the turn is about 4-5 km after Kadav and before Kashele, from Murbad side you can turn left at Kashele). Look for Holiday Maiyaan Cloud_Residence on Google Maps
Post booking we can provide you contact nos of some auto and taxi service providers who can ferry you from Karjat station to Maiyaan and back. We do not know them personally. We are just providing the numbers for your convenience. You may connect with them or make your own arrangements.

Inside the resort
• The room keys will be provided by our caretaker Nitin. There is no self-check-in or check-out option.
• The parking lot is near the entrance. You may drop your luggage near the A2 building and then go to park the car/ bike in the designated area.
• Common amenities include a swimming pool and badminton court which are accessible to all guests of Holiday Maiyaan.
• Usage of the swimming pool is at your own risk. There is no lifeguard. The swimming pool area does not have changing rooms or shower area.

Connectivity
• Airtel mobile signal works in the area. Jio works but network is not so good. VI network is very poor.
• Each apartment has a separate Wi-Fi connection. The Wi-Fi works except in case of occasional outages.

Inside the apartments
• Check-in time is 1 PM and checkout at 11 AM the next day.
• Early check-in or late checkout may be allowed for an extra charge, if possible. Please discuss the same with us in advance.
• Our apartments are in A2 building on the 1st floor. The pics of the apartments are in the pages below.
• Each apartment is ~240 sqft. In addition, there is a balcony of ~60 sqft with a dining table and chairs.
• Each apartment has a Queen bed & Sofa bed.
• Each apartment has all the basic amenities – AC, min-fridge, kettle, cutlery, toiletries, etc.
• Induction stove and cooking vessels like saucepan & fry pan will be provided on request.
• A microwave oven can also be arranged on prior request.
• We provide tea/ coffee sachets and a kettle.
• Badminton racquets will be provided on request.
• We provide guests 2 bottles of packaged water per day. Additional bottles can be carried by the guests or purchased from the restaurant in the resort.
• Our apartments do not have a private pool.
• Our TVs have OTT platforms to enable our guests to watch movies and web series using their own logins.
• Please note that we are in a rural area there may be power cuts/ low voltage. In such cases, the inverter will provide sufficient power for Wi-Fi, lights, and fan for a few hours. However, AC, microwave, mini fridge, induction stove, kettle and boiler will not work on inverter.
• The resort is in a green zone & there may be insects around, especially in evening / night. The French windows have mosquito nets to keep them out. We also provide mosquito repellents in case needed.
• For extra pillows or blankets or consumables like handwash, etc please contact the caretaker before 7PM.
• The switchboard near the main door has a switch for the tube light which is a dual light – white and yellow. You can toggle between the 2 modes using the switch as per your preference.
• The switch for the lamp and fan is next to the bed and above the sofa.
• The switch for stabilizer for the AC is next to the curtains along with the switch for the balcony lights. AC can be switched on only after stabilizer shows ‘LO’.
• The remote for AC and TV would be either on the TV shelf or in the side-table drawer.

Food
• We do not provide food service in our package.
• However, there are options that we are mentioning here.
• There is a restaurant on the campus, run independently by the developer.
o This restaurant has a limited menu - both veg and non-veg (chicken) is served.
o Food is prepared fresh, so please order at least 45 minutes beforehand.
o Room service charges are applicable if food is to be delivered to the room.
o Guests are requested to place the order directly with the restaurant and eat at the restaurant. Even if food is to be ordered to the room, please co-ordinate directly. Our caretaker may facilitate the order placement if you give him proper written instructions. This is to prevent any confusion which has led to inconvenience to guests in the past.
o The restaurant serves tasty and reasonably priced Indian food. The restaurant also serves some Chinese dishes; however, we recommend that you go for the authentic food which is their forte.
o The restaurant staff may be able to customize the menu if discussed with them in advance. If you get the raw essentials, like say fish, they can cook/ fry them for a charge (if discussed in advance with them).
o Since this is a Homestay, restaurant hours are limited to the following:
 Breakfast: 9am – 12 noon,
 Lunch: 1pm – 3:30pm,
 Dinner: 7:30pm – 9:30pm
o The restaurant will be closed on Tuesdays for lunch and dinner. If you are staying on a Tuesday then we suggest you have lunch on the way and dinner can be arranged for you by our caretaker from Kashele/ Ambivali for a charge.
o Alcohol is not served / sold in the restaurant; however, you can get your own supply and consume in the room.
• There are 2-3 dine-in/ delivery options for food. Our caretaker will provide you the details, if required.

The property contains facilities such as an outdoor swimming pool, restaurant run independently by the developer (charged separately), parking space.

General Instructions
• The resort is 20 minutes away from the nearest market so we advise you to get all requirements for food and drinks beforehand.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited in the room.
• Drugs are illegal and prohibited on the property.
• No parties or events allowed.
• No loud music / noise post 11 pm in the balcony.
• We love pets but other resort guests may not. So, pets are not allowed.
• Maintain basic cleanliness and hygiene.
• CCTV camera are around the resort at select places.
• Please take extra care of your keys. Lost keys will incur a replacement fee.
• Please do your dishes.
• Turn off the lights, air conditioning, and any electronics when you leave the room.
