This apartment has a private entrance from the exterior at the ground level. There is an area for children, with a bunk bed, and bathroom with both shower and toilet, and also a guest bathroom.
The master bedroom has a queen bed, and an en suite bathroom, with a shower and toilet. This room provides flexible space options, in that creative and modern moveable ‚Piet Mondrian‘ wooden doors can be opened to include the living area, or closed for privacy.
The apartment has a comfortable and expansive open living, dining and kitchen area, defining the center of the apartment and with direct access to a balcony with wonderful views of the ocean. In the living room you have two additional beds.
There is a generous and modern kitchen, which includes an island. There is a pantry off the kitchen for storage. The kitchen is furnished with utensils/service for 6, and includes a toaster, mixer, microwave, coffee maker, and refrigerator with freezer.
From the terrace of the apartment you have a spiral staircase that goes directly to the pool that is exclusively for guests of the house. Parents are responsible for children when they are in the pool. Off the spacious wooden terrace one has a view of the ocean and direct access to the pool. On the left the terrace is sheltered by glass against wind.
The house was constructed from ecologically healthy materials and wood. The interior of the home is non-smoking. Pets are not permitted, but a request for exceptions would be considered. Each apartment has it is own safe for storing valuables. All beds have exceptionally high quality mattresses (verified type ‚Premium Paraíso) and are especially suitable for people with sensitive backs. Bed linens and towels are provided.
The ceilings in the rooms are high. Thus there is always a pleasant climate and air conditioning is not needed that may cause health problems. If it should be exceptionally very hot, we have a fan that you can turn on.
Normally there are no mosquitoes in the house because usually the humidity is very low. It rains very rarely, mainly between the months January and March. If there should be mosquitoes we provide mosquito nets. Since we attach great importance to the protection of the environment, we do not use insecticide.
Vichayito is a village of traditional homes and tasteful hotels with elegant style. Our home is unique, architecturally modern, with custom wood siding, and terraces which are protected from the wind and provide both sunny and shaded areas, with spectacular views of the ocean. The expansive, clean, and sandy beach, perfect for swimming, walking, and relaxing in the sun, is only a 2 minute walk away. You can find quiet and private spots to sun bath. There are no rocks or rocky areas around the beach.
The climate is generally a comfortable, dry heat, with plenty of sunshine.
The average temperature is around 76 ºF (24.2 ºC). The hottest month is February with an average temperature of 80.5 ºF (27 ºC) and the coolest month is September with an average of 72 ºF (22 ºC).
The water temperature is typically 73 ºF - 80.5 ºF ( 23 ºC - 26.7 ºC) in the summer (December through April) and between 66 ºF -72 ºF (19 ºC -22 ºC) the rest of the year.
It almost never rains. There may be occasional showers between January and March, but the rainfall is minimal, e.g. < 3 inches (8cm)/month (unless it is an ‚El Niño‘ which is very rare.. the last heavy one was in 1983). The rest of the year, the rainfall is between 0 and 0.08 inches (0.2 cm).
From July through November, in the late morning hours until the evening, there is often a constant wind which provides ideal conditions for Kite- or Windsurfing. The remainder of the year, it is generally calm.

- "Big and spacious condo with nice and helpful hosts. Gorgeous view and spacious balcony. Always a good wind that comes from the ocean and amazing sunsets. The only negative point was all mosquitos and bitting flies that came with the exceptional rain (mostly at night), and the casa was not built to prevent that kind of intrusion. Our hosts were kind enough to borrow us a bed net that helps. Except that, the place was wonderful."
