- "So centrally located and mostly quiet at night. Comfortable spacious rooms with portable air conditioners/fans. Basic kitchen facilities, but had what we needed. Had a king bed and then two double beds in main open area of kitchen and dining room. Separate bathroom/toilet - could have been a bit cleaner, but worked fine. Excellent communication, sorting out any requests quickly. Close to lots of restaurants, tours and the main city plaza and grocery store. Didn't need the daily clean, so price was reduced. I was surprised there was no stove but they did have a microwave. It had a small balcony which was nice and was facing the street, which was very noisy. Especially at night and very early mornings. The hot watter would take a very long time to come and when it did, you had very little time to use it. One day the whole room had no water at all. Luckly this happened when we had just gone to drop some stuff off and were just in and out. When we got back, we had water again. The staff was super friendly. Its easy to hail a cab from the hotel and everything was walking distance. We would stay there again but with lower expectations on the room and not in the smaller loft or by the street. "

Downsides: loud music and partying noise until 2:30 am every night especially weekends. Earplugs essential. Seriously. Quiet in daytime except conversations from other guests in nearby apartments are very clearly audible. No sound insulation! The upside is that the street outside is thronged with waiting taxis drivers gathered like unpaid security guards right at the front door! The street is brightly lit and full of revelers which again makes it feel safe at night instead of dark and creepy. Special thanks to apt manager Berenice for furnishing the livingroom with a Mexican woven hammock seat plus an array of well-chosen local books to read in it! "

- "The pictures looked great, the rooms did not match the pictures. One room was pretty musty and dark. The room we stayed in had no hot water in the shower and it took 3 days to fix. They offered to change the room but that room had steep stairs to get to single bedroom down stairs and we had paid for a two bedroom. They should have made sure the shower worked before we arrived. They also required payment on arrival instead of at check-out. There are no cafes walking distance, and long waits for a taxi to come to the area. We actually had a few taxis say no when we were trying to come back from downtown. When I texted about the hot water problem (no response when I had called) I was told I should have pointed it out on the first day, like it was my fault! I had let the person who checked us in know on the very first morning. They changed the shower head and then the water heater. Other item I did not like was that back door was left unlocked every day. I would lock it at night and before leaving only to find it unlocked when we returned from our outings. No I would not recommend this place."

2. This is a NO SMOKING PERMITTED inside the apartment apartment. Smoking is allowed on the terraces.
3. No Pets are permitted in rental without prior approval. .
4. We will not rent to vacationing students or singles under 25 years of age unless accompanied by an adult guardian or parent.
5. DAMAGE/ DEPOSIT- The owner reserves the right to require a $500.00 damage deposit depending on the number of children to occupy the unit. The deposit, if required, may be paid upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is fully refundable within (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met.
a. No damage is done to apartment or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.
b. No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.
c. No linens are lost or damaged.

A very nice terrace to enjoy, quite ventilated and illuminated.
We are located very close to the Church of Santo Domingo, walking through the tourist walker you reach the museums, zocalo and restaurants.
The area has become very commercial, around there are cafes and restaurants, in addition to two ideal parks for walking or exercising.

- "I was nervous about my first trip to Mexico. This apartment made things a lot smoother. It is definitely spacious for one person. The door lock was a keypad which made things much easier. You enter into a living room space with a TV. To be honest, I did not watch much TV while I was in Oaxaca. The kitchen and dining area was quite large and had everything I needed. There was an outdoor patio off of the kitchen. This was a nice little addition. There was a table and four chairs in a private outdoor area. The bedroom and walk in closet was very large. The bed was a king and was perfect. The bathroom was clean and had everything I could need. I was very happy with this choice of apartment. You could walk to the cathedrals in 5-10 minutes. This apartment is located close to a very well known hill in the city that is called El Cerro del Fortin where every year is celebrated the Guelaguetza which is the biggest celebration in Oaxaca during July.
The apartment is located inside a beautiful Oaxqueña house with a big patio and a fountain in the center, offers you a great view of the city and it a great place to chill and relax in the afternoon, there are some other apartments in the
same building so sometimes the travelers in the different apartments meet each other while they are guests of the house. The enviroment is private and quiet in case you like peaceful places to relax, includes a parking lot for your vehicle.
The neighborhood around is safe, there is a University next to the house and also you can find a laundry, market to buy groceries and the Zocalo is located 10 minutes away walking.

Bugambilias 203 is an independent, industrial style room with luxury accents that will make your stay pleasant. It has a king size bed, small spaces to store your clothes, a spacious bathroom that you will surely love. In the place you can find a desk/table that you can use to work or eat something. You have a refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker at your disposal to help you if you need them. We have 60 Mbps internet, a smart TV with Netflix and a space to relax on the terrace; this has a breakfast bar that you can use whenever you like. We are a different choice from downtown stays, with better details and better attention.
Don't overpay for a room in the city center. We are very close and you will not regret booking with us.

Guest access
Access to the house is through a separate door, with a smart lock; we will send you the key a few days before your arrival. Upon entering, you will see a lockbox with the keys to open and close the bedroom door. If you bring a car, you can leave it in the street in front of the house. It is a very safe area. We also park our two cars in the street.

During your stay
We live in the lower part of the space, so we will often coincide with your stay. We sometimes leave, but we will always be available, just a call or a message and we will help you instantly, 24/7. Review our response rate, always 100% !!

Other things to note
At home we have Kira, a husky that lives in the front yard, when you enter you will pass by one side, your access is separated from the yard by a fence. She's very playful and kind, there's no reason to be afraid of her, she's a sweetheart. Merlin, an Alaskan malamute, is also with us. We recently picked him up from the street, and he is adapting to us, but don't worry, he's cute and sometimes a bit scandalous.
The colony is very safe, and nearby you can find parks, gyms, convenience stores, local spaces to eat and medical centers, it is not a party area or bars, but we are not far away either.
You can check with us for reservations at events or restaurants and, if possible, transfers and tours.
