Showed us around and made sure we were aware that he’d be downstairs if we needed him at anytime. Our room was peaceful. Dark but not to dark and very cozy. Sipped on some mezcal and ate a couple different fruits and nuts they left for us in a bowl in our room as well as the Mezcal! Walked up to the restaurant and had our minds set on a couple things that weren’t on the menu .. to which the amazing server asked the chef and they made us the amazing dinner plate we wanted! Walked back to our room and layed in the amazing Ace and connected to there WiFi! Check out was super easy to which they had already called a taxi for us! I appreciate you guys so much! - "This is the second time I’ve stayed at this property and what more can I say? This place is outstanding! It was the first time for my wife. She loved it. We spent three weeks at this property in January 2024 and it was idyllic. The weather was perfect. The service was impecable. The restaurant hours were appropriate and the food was outstanding. The owner and the receptionist manager went out of their way to make our stay incredible. The price point of this hotel is what really makes it an extremely good value. One final note to add about our stay in Oaxaca was that they are now offering a rideshare app called DiDi. We discovered it halfway through our trip and it isn’t Uber but it is close. You can request a ride and they will tell you how much it will cost and you can either except it or decline it. The drivers name and license plate number shows up on the app. This took out any negotiations that we were having to deal with the regular taxi drivers. Plus we could watch for the driver and we knew how close he was getting. This is a must have app if you’re visiting Oaxaca. Yes, you still have to pay him with pesos, but it is much better than hailing a cab or calling a cab. Just download the app and put in your information. If you have a picture of yourself, that really helps the driver find you on the streets. Unfortunately, you cannot use DiDi to depart the airport but you can when return. Government. Grrrr!"
