When we had trouble getting in (no getting-in directions had been sent), I reached out through the app that we were having trouble getting in - and literally never heard from her again. She had earlier sent a message with a phone number - but I can't call without being charged. We couldn't figure out how to operate the TV but it wasn't worth contacting her if she didn't even respond to the news that we couldn't enter the place! The place was fine, though smaller than it looks in the picture. A bed was added, so the TV is now in the kitchen, with no comfortable chair. (Though we couldn't operate the TV, so it was a moot point.) It would have been nice to have a roll of paper towels provided. The location was pretty good - on the water at the end of a street in a residential neighborhood but only 10-15 minutes from Galway. There were a few flies in the apartment that we couldn't get rid of, so perhaps a door was left open before we got there. The beds were fine and towels and washcloths were provided."

Seafort Tigeen ( Gaelic for small house) is located in the scenic are of Rinville, Oranmore. A great spot to visit the Cliffs of Mohar, the Aran Islands and the stunning scenery of Connermara. It is on the Wild Atlantic Way and adjacent to the Burren.
Coastal and woodland walks, bird watching and swimming are on your doorstep. Galway Bay Sailing Club (popular swimming spot), Galway Bay Golf Resort and Rinville Park are just around the corner. Nearest towns are Oranmore (4km), Clarenbridge (7km) & Galway (15km). Ideally situated for day trips to The Burren, The Aran Islands, Connemara, The Cliffs of Moher & Coole Park (The Lady Gregory and Yeats Heritage Trail).

Food
Grealy Stores is our local shop & petrol station (1.5km). It is a friendly, family run store that has a bakery, coffee, ready made meals and a sandwich deli counter.

Oranmore village is 4km away and restaurants include Indian, Chinese, Italian, Fish & Chips, Mexican, Pizza and good coffee. Also many of the pubs do food.

Famous seafood restaurant Moran's Oyster Cottage is just 10km away and Paddy Burke's Oyster Inn, Clarenbridge is 7km.


You will have the exclusive use of the Tigeen with parking just outside and private entrance.

This is the perfect place for a peaceful getaway. This spacious, cosy, one bedroom apartment has everything you need. Situated less than 100 metres from the sea, you can enjoy walks with beautiful scenery. Only a five minute drive from Oranmore town which has many restaurants, pubs, shops, supermarkets, cinema, buses/taxis etc. Galway City is just a 20 minute drive away. This apartment has one bedroom, ensuite, king size bed, fully equipped kitchen, dining area, living area and outdoor patio.

This is a one bedroom apartment. The spacious bedroom has an ensuite bathroom with an electric shower. A king size bed with a comfortable mattress and a large wardrobe. There is an entrance hallway leading into the kitchen. It is a fully equipped kitchen with fridge-freezer, cooker, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, kettle, toaster, French press and cutlery and crockery are provided. There is a dining area and living area with comfortable couches, a TV and a small fireplace which looks out on to a private outdoor patio with furniture.
