The apartment is 5 min walking to Casco Viejo so very close. Some kind of alarm started going off in the building and continued for 2 days straight, even after I sent a message, never got a reply back. It was a bit annoying even up to the third floor. If you are a seasoned traveler you’ll like this hidden gem for all it offers at its price point, you can always Uber, I would stay again. I would recommend this property for adults only. "

The bigger issue for me was that there was no explanation whatsoever given for the change and no option for any other property. The customer support person on WhatsApp was nice but it was clear that this was a take it or leave it proposition and that no accommodation would be offered or made other than this change. The property we ended up at was one of the options when we were booking our stay and we made the decision to not book it based on its location, but we ended up there anyway. It was ok, but was not the experience we had hoped trip to Panama."
