My accommodation is close to important and fascinating historic centers such as Mesagne, San Vito dei Normanni, Carovigno, Ostuni (the white city), Ceglie Messapica, Oria, Locorotondo, Alberobello... even a few kilometers from the beautiful Adriatic coast and beautiful beaches such as the natural reserve of Torre Guaceto, or the crystal clear coves of Torre Pozzella, Costa Merlata,... You will love my place for these reasons: the intimacy, the views and the location. My place is good for couples.

Quiet house, energy self-sufficient, ecological and minimalist approach. Breakfast with local and natural products. The reserve's beaches are about 3 km away, also within walking distance. Nearby tourist attractions (Ostuni, Brindisi, etc.)

The space
Bufalarìa is a large garden garden of about 10,000 meters, cultivated according to natural methods inspired by permaculture. There you can walk, stop in the trees, read a nice book in the scents of the countryside, relax in the sun on the patio or on the large terrace of the house, immerse yourself in the blue of the sky and the wind. The slightly elevated house offers a spacious view of the countryside and lets your gaze stand on the sea, widely visible from the terrace, including Torre Guaceto. The large windows create a one-on-one with the outside and allow for direct contact with the surrounding nature, wrapped in the melody of the birds. The BnB is furnished with thoughtful simplicity, but offers everything you need for a pleasant stay.

A beautiful “trullo” Saraceno and a nice mediterranean style villa of 130sqm, to let for short periods with the B&B formula; the villa is built on a 6000 sqm field, surrounded by very old olive trees and dry stone walls, typical from the Alto Salento area, located among the towns of Carovigno and San Vito dei Normanni, just 10 km away from the historical centre of Ostuni, the white town, suitable for a relaxing holiday just 8 km away from the wonderful natural beach of Torre Guaceto, just few km away from the old towns of Ceglie Messapica, Oria e Cisternino;

The villa has 3 bedrooms, two of them are double bed and one has 1 double bed and 1 single bed, all rooms are equipped with A/C and LCD Tv; the 2 double bedrooms also have private bathrooms, while the Trullo, totally restored, offers 1 double bed and 1 single bed and a private bathroom;

The Saraceno B&B is a perfect place for a relaxing stay in the middle of the nature; external showers available and a big solarium for long sun bath besides a large open air patio in the middle of our garden where our guests will taste our fresh and home made breakfasts served in the morning from 8:30 'till 10:30.

Set within 5 acres of Olive Groves and with just 5 suites The Proud Garden is somewhere to escape the pressures of the modern world. If you need additional suites then please message us or look for the additional suites on Airbnb. We offer stylish and unique accommodation but without the stuffiness sometimes found in properties of a similar standard. We want you to relax and feel at home, after all this is your holiday. This is an all year round destination.

The space
Each suite caters for 2 people and has a lounge with a kitchenette, bedroom with a hand made double four poster bed, private rain shower bathroom and a private terrace. All areas have underfloor heating for the chillier months.

There is an additional shared lounge/library under the tower where we serve guests our lovely Italian breakfast of cereals, fresh croissants, meats and cheeses, yogurts, fresh juices etc. There is a seasonal swimming pool, BBQ/Pizza oven and a Chapel for those wanting solitude.

We are here in the background if you need us but otherwise the whole place is yours.

Other things to note
Although The Proud Garden is not really set up for children we welcome any parties that wish to book the whole place 4 or 5 suites. The whole Villa then becomes yours and children will be most welcome. The last 400 metres approach to The Proud Garden is via an untarmacked dirt track. It is perfectly passable with a normal car as long as you drive slowly. Think of it as a barrier to the outside world. We recommend against renting any form of low sitting sports car.
