- "A good location for us, we know the area from previous visits. We wanted somewhere close to Competa but El Dorado had a the added bonus of a pool!!! Marek and Derek have thought of everything, the room was spacious with good shower facilities and wardrobe space. We were not expecting the offer to have lunch and dinner, as we travel around quite a lot we did not take up this extra offer. However, the breakfast provided was extensive and sets you up for the day! There is the option to use the ‘honesty bar’ which is a lovely touch! I took advantage of having a facial during my stay which was exceptional! The products were good quality. The villa is a short drive to Competa and about 25mins back down to Algorobbo. You can take the road down to Torrox Costa which is a little more narrow. It was a great addition to our holiday spent travelling around the area and we would love to stay here again! "

It is located within the Sierras de Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama Natural Park. With very easy access to get there by car, although later it is recommended to discover the place on foot. Frigiliana is 15 'and Nerja is 20'.
The house was chosen so that people feel at home. We are only 45 'from Malaga airport, until the Nerja exit, then you have to take the direction of the majestic Frigiliana town and continue to the El Acebuchal village

The house is fully equipped, breakfast is simple but very nutritious and then go out to enjoy the surroundings. We have a swimming pool, a kitchen for common use, laundry with an additional payment.

The village is in the middle of nature, the place invites you to discover the surroundings independently or with adventure activities.

The best way to get there is from the Malaga airport by motorway, taking the exit in Nerja, then direct towards Frigiliana. When you arrive at the roundabout of the direction Diseminado el Comendador, 29788 Frigiliana ,, continue upwards for about 4 km and you will find a sign with the information of one of the Acebuchal bars, there you turn as indicated by the sign following the directions for The Acebuchal. The place is called The Lost Village since it does not appear in the GPS, because there is enough information on the route to arrive without problems. When you arrive you must park the car next to the church, the house is accessed by a staircase of about five steps. See you soon!

Located in the old town of Cómpeta, 50 meters from the main square with a multitude of bars and restaurants to enjoy a drink and excellent food. Located just below a national park where hiking is one of the main activities. The house is over/under 200 years old and is completely renovated while maintaining its original features. Casa Jardín is a unique property located in the heart of Cómpeta, just behind the church, offering convenient access to the village. The space

You'll find all the modern amenities you may need, including air conditioning and a quiet ceiling fan to cool off in summer and warm up in winter. There is a TV with streaming movies, series, and live TV. There is a coffee/tea maker and complimentary water. There are hanging lamps next to the bed and a selection of lighting for your preferred atmosphere. The spacious bathroom has a rain shower, light mirror, hairdryer, and free toiletries. The room is tastefully and modernly decorated while maintaining all the charm of the old Spanish house.

Ian and Anthony are also more than willing to share their extensive knowledge of the town, offering personalized tours. As trained baristas who previously ran a successful coffee shop in England, they guarantee an exceptional coffee experience for all guests. The space
An accommodation in Spanish atmosphere for a relaxing and inspiring stay.

You will feel right at home in the beautiful surroundings, inspired by the bohemian livestyle, with a lovely swimming pool and three comfortable studios. Our studios are designed with comfort and style in mind. Each studio has its own bathroom with toilet and shower, toiletries, hairdryer, bathrobes and is equipped with air conditioning, fridge, coffee and tea making facilities and free WiFi.

The patio has an outdoor toilet and outdoor shower. Also there is an honesty bar for a drink.

For our B&B guests, we provide breakfast of their choice every morning. In addition, we offer dinner several times a week.

Casa Tragabalas has a private patio for all guests to enjoy their privacy. Next to the patio is a large garden with several terraces and (fruit)trees. From these terraces you have a great view of the village and the sea.

Our pool is an oasis of refreshment and fun, where you can enjoy cooling diving and relaxing under the warm sun while enjoying a good book or just doing nothing at all. In the wintertime you can relax in our jacuzzi.

Other things to note
The walking distance from Casa Tragabalas to Cómpeta is more than a quarter of an hour. Within 4 minutes you are in the village by car. A day at the beach? By car, you can reach the seafront within 25 minutes. Along the coast you will find several, some still pristine, beaches. The nearest airport is Malaga Airport, 53 km from Cómpeta. It takes about 55 minutes to get into the village, which is at an altitude of about 638 m. This means it's a few degrees cooler than on the coast, so perfect in the summer.

Other nice places and sights include Nerja, the caves of Nerja, Frigiliana, El Acebuchal (the ghost village of Andalucía), Caminito del Rey (a hoisted hiking trail), Rio Chillar, Sierra Nevada with fantastic opportunities for skiing in winter, the Alhambra in Granada and much more. Of course, a visit to Malaga should also not be missed.
