Our rustic-style wooden guesthouse has 8 bedrooms (4 on each floor), a spacious dining area (former restaurant) and a shared kitchen on the ground floor.
It's possible to rent the entire guesthouse or separate bedrooms. As such, there may be other guests in the guesthouse.
Your bedroom offers total privacy. There are 3 WC, one in each floor.
Continental breakfast available for extra 20 CHF / person
The space
Ground floor: Large fully equipped kitchen, dining area (with 26 seats) and toilets.
You can prepare your own meals, or also use the fridge to store your food. There's daily cleaning, but please keep the kitchen clean intraday for other guests.
For those not keen to cook, you could order food from a restaurant nearby and comfortably eat in our dinning area, which you could use to eat, chill and interact with other guests.
On both the 1st and 2nd floors there's 4 bedrooms (2 of which with mountain views) & 1 shared bathroom.
LOCATION:
Guesthouse is situated at 1,000m altitude and we are located just a few meters off the main street as you enter Engelberg. Free parking next to the guesthouse.
Distance:
10m walk to Espen restaurant
15m walking to the ski lifts to Titlis
18m walk to the train station
20m walking to Coop supermarket
While a car is not strictly necessary, it helps to get around in the city, shopping, etc
Each bedroom has new box spring beds and cable TV in each individual room (with 50+ channels, BBC, CNN, etc) and wi-fi
Washer and dryer available on site. Bed linen and towels provided. Baby crib/sit available too.
Small amenities provided too: Olive oil, salt/pepper, herbs, toilet paper, shampoos, shower-gel, etc
About Engelberg: Winter is all about skiing, but the Summer is a true child friendly paradise for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers. Paragliding, rock climbing, hiking, golf, mountain biking, fishing, swimming in the lakes .. are some of the Summer highlights of Engelberg. From the valley floor at 1,000 to up to 3,000 meters above sea level you will find fantastic mountain experiences that will take you away from everyday life and promise you unforgettable moments.

This property has been rented to Engelberg local staff (on a long-term basis) the last few years, only now we're moving to Airbnb model. Hence the lack of reviews. But rest assured that you're in good hands and that this is a safe choice to enjoy the Swiss mountains and the lovely village of Engelberg.
Smoking: Smoking is only permitted outside the house
