In Gwangyang Monguljae, a small house in the countryside where you can feel the atmosphere of the countryside, you can experience a walk in a quiet rural neighborhood.
Monguljae was a house built by my parents in 2021, from the square crooked land that huddled in the hinterland.
On March 1, 2024, I opened the annex that I had envisioned as Sarangchae from the time I first designed it as an Airbnb.
Recommended for those who want to enjoy the convenience of a pleasant accommodation while enjoying the sensibility of a country house in ⭐️nature at the same time.⭐️
The space
-This is a separate building that is “independent” from the main building.
-It is a studio type with a kitchen and a bathroom. (33m2)
-You can freely use the deck and yard (330m2) right in front of the accommodation. Camping is also possible.
-The owner couple host lives in the main house and only one team is accepted as a guest per day.
-There is a queen size bed (installed with koala mattress, an Australian home furnishing that is excellent for sleeping).

Monguljae is located in Choam Village, Okryong-myeon. You can see the majestic and beautiful mountain birds of Baegunsan Mountain in Okryong-myeon, and if it is a light chip, you can enjoy a deep and cool valley where you can swim in the summer, and a walk on the foliage in autumn (10 minutes by car). Also, a walk on the wide Dongcheon Cheonbyeon in front of the house will provide a meditative walk.
Monguljae wants to be a comfortable shelter-like accommodation for those who are traveling to Gurye, Hadong, Suncheon, and Yeosu. We also want to act as a cultural space that provides constant communication with locals living around Gwangyang.

Hi, our Airbnb is a two-story house located on the multitasking side. It feels a little empty because it's just built, but it's clean and tidy for a few days to stay comfortably. Our house overlooks the Seomjin River from the veranda, and the cherry blossoms are in full bloom in the spring, so you can feel overwhelmed. New bedding is fully furnished to accommodate up to 10 people, but up to 6 people are limited.
As a host, my dad is always here, and I manage the reservation. ^ ^
On the second floor there is a 2-dong house. The host lives in Building 1, and it is a lodging for guests to stay in Building 2. If the garden is exceeded, all 2 buildings can be accommodated, but additional charges will be required. (x2)
After grabbing the mountain, the way up to the second-floor accommodation is quite steep. If any of your guests are uncomfortable with their mobility or need to use a wheelchair, this may not be suitable for you.
