Chestnut palace is surrounded by ancient trees and famous Croatian chestnut and marrons.
There is 1200m2 of beautiful garden where you can have a barbecue.
Chestnut Palace has 4 apartments (A1, A2, A3, A4) in beautiful building built with old Croatian popular stone and they all have their own
kitchen, bedroom, wi-fi internet, wardrobe, fridge, TV, heating, air-conditioning, microwave, coffee machine.
Linen and towels are included in every apartment.
Pets are allowed but you must pay 10 Eur for dog and cats.
Smoking is alowed.

Chestnut comes from latin word Castanea (Croatian name is kesten).
Chestnut has reddish chestnut-brown color and it has smooth surface, it grows inside the barbed-liners who splits apart in the autumn when it ripens.
Chestnut tree was known in China and Japan long before the Roman legions were brought to Europe. Roasted chestnuts were sold on the streets of
Rome in the 16th century as a winter sale like today.

Marrons are coming from mixing home wild chestnut and sadnica which sailors bring from Japan.
Marrons have the best quality and taste and it is a "must try" when you are in Lovran.
Lovran also has a famous "Lovranska Marunada" which has found herself in the top 10 list of festivals in the whole world,
chosen by the english Guardian newspaper.
The festival is in the middle of the October every year so come and join us.
