Under the Milkwoods is situated In a quiet part of Port Alfred, within walking distance of our blue flag Kelly beach, golf course, Kowie River and town centre.

The space can be rented out as a double room for a travelling couple or take the twin room as a family unit which then includes double and twin accommodation.

My home has an inverter so my lights are never off and I also provide a most enjoyable light breakfast on the veranda each morning.

The space
My accommodation consists of two bedrooms with private bath, shower and interleading balcony on a separate floor to my living space. I offer a special rate for single occupancy and will greet you on arrival with tea or coffee. The bedrooms are equipped with a kettle, tea and coffee. The beds have electric blankets for winter and I offer a light breakfast with juice, cereal, yoghurt, fruit and toast on my patio.

Guest access
My guests are most welcome to join me in the lounge where I have a large T.V. but no DSTV. Limited access to my kitchen and microwave to enable my guests to make a simple meal.. The patio or dining room is available on most occasions for dining.

We are on the edge of Port Alfred overlooking the beach. No public roads between us and the beach. Quiet, natural dune bush surrounds.

The rooms have own entrances, ensuite bathrooms, small kitchenette in the room.

During your stay
We have found most people prefer to be on their own. You have your own entrance and come and go as you please. Hence the rooms are fully equipped with a small kitchenette with small fridge, microwave, kettle, toaster. Tv with B&B satelite TV. Small portable BBQ available.

Other things to note
There are stairs to both units so we regret not wheel chair friendly! Sorry!

Optional Continental breakfast can be arranged. Placed in your room usually the evening before.
