- "The owner's daughter Penny was the only host around during the 3 days of our stay. She is very friendly, warm and helpful right from the start. Even though we arrived in Taitung rather late, she was patient to wait for our return from dinner, to give us excellent suggestions for our itinerary. My friend fell sick 1 of the night, and she actually drove back to the B&B to drive us out to an eatery, so that we can buy takeaway for dinner! My friends and I were very touched by her hospitality and genuine concern for her guests. Breakfast prepared by Penny was delicious. She also took the initiative to offer breakfast takeaway for us to eat on the train when we had to catch an early train to a nearby town. The "beach" room we stayed in was very big and clean. It is also nicely decorated with blue sky and clouds for ceiling, seashell beds, painted beach on the walls and a giant seahorse plushie. The bathroom has excellent hot water as well. I strongly recommend this place to all travellers! You would experience the warmth of Taiwanese with their hospitality, and maybe gain a friend too :) "
