- "This is a well run apartment hotel away from the hustle and bustle of the main street but close enough to walk to. Breakfast was particularly good and the service was very attentive. The room was cleaned every day by a delightful lady who together with the owners was very welcoming. We were given recommendations for good restaurants in the area and overall our stay was an enjoyable experience. The Tegernsee is beautiful and is highly recommended as a tourist destination."

Double:
On the first floor there is a separate double room with en-suite bathroom, WC, Full HD flat-screen satellite TV and balcony as additional room for all apartments. Ideal for a family with 2 children or 2 couples. Can also be booked as a double room - but WITHOUT breakfast.
The Gästehaus Schiffmann has been in family ownership for over 100 years. The family atmosphere and the personal service, which our numerous regular guests especially appreciate, are appreciated. The location of our Geästehaus is ideal, because central to the center of Rottach-Egern and lake, but still very quiet in a private dead end by the stream. You can easily reach everything on foot and the bus stop is only 200 meters away. We want our guests to feel at home in our cozy Bavarian furnished apartments. Included with us: The Tegernsee Card. NOTE: Due to an undeclared construction site of the neighboring municipality of Rottach-Egern for flood protection on the river Rottach there is currently noise pollution in our house!
