The Chalet am Brand is situated just a few hundred metres from the shore of Lake Tegernsee and boasts a breathtaking view of the lake and the lush vegetation. Across 110 m² of living space, the rustic holiday home offers a living room with a sofa bed for 2 people, a dining room with large windows and lake view, a very well-equipped kitchen, 2 bedrooms as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 5 people. Amenities also include a wood-burning stove, satellite TV, board games, children's books, and a highchair. Outside you will find a small terrace, a garden with a pond and a barbecue where you can prepare delicious meals. As it is surrounded by nature, this accommodation will provide you with a fantastic view of the surrounding mountain panorama all year round. In summer you can admire lush green meadows with grazing sheep, in autumn colourful leaves or in winter the fairytale landscape covered in fresh snow. Here you can spend romantic hours, go on ski trips or explore the many hiking trails in the surrounding area. A supermarket is 450 m away and a choice of restaurants and bars is 350 metres or a 7-minute walk away, in the village of Tegernsee.

Bed linens and towels are included in the price. Ski storage is possible. Please note that the house is situated on a steep slope.
There is good mobile phone reception for all providers but there is no Wifi in the house.
The driveway to the Brand from the village of Tegernsee is extremely steep ( 23% ) and narrow and is 400 meters.
In winter it can be problematic with snow and ice. The road should not be underestimated. Look at the fire as if you would go to a hut in the mountains. Please leave your car in the village in case of snow and go up on foot with the right shoes and a backpack. Even with a 4 wheel drive it can be difficult, because uphill is much less dangerous than downhill.
You can park at the foot of the mountain: Karl-Stieler Straße (free of charge) or Lärchenwaldstraße (here unfortunately against charges). By the way, you can park anywhere in Tegernsee for one hour free of charge.
