The chalet is situated in a quiet sunny location in Hochkrimml-Duxeralm, right at the foot of the Gerlosplatte 1650m above sea level, overlooking the nature reserve.

The house is child friendly with Tripp-Trapp- highchair, toys (Barbie, Lego, cars) and children's books (Walt Disney, storybooks).

They have four separate bedrooms, 2 of which are accessible on the top floor via a steep staircase. On the ground floor a spacious living room with dining area for at least 8 people and a cozy lounge corner, LED TV with cable channels, a hi-fi stereo system, and a modern fitted kitchen with dishwasher, stove, microwave, coffee maker etc.

Enjoy the sun on the large terrace, and two spacious balconies.

(Bunk beds were double - so a really good size if used by an adult.) Kitchen corner small but well enough equiped to cook what we needed. Ski storage and drying worked exceptionally well - heated floors in the porch were very useful! Check with the owner about towels and linens PRIOR to arrival/last instructions - we got caught out in that they werent included and had to adapt once in resort."

Haus Gerlinde is a cozy chalet at 1700 m altitude, with a great view and a wonderful sun position, in the Silberleiten district, on the Gerlosplatte in Hochkrimml. Perfect for winter sports but also ideal in the summer if you love the beautiful unspoilt nature!
It is located between two ski lifts. Haus Gerlinde has a typical Austrian appearance, with a cozy interior in a warm color scheme. There are three bedrooms, two with a balcony. One bedroom has a double bed and a double bunk bed and two bedrooms have a double bed. Two bathrooms, one with a bath and one with a shower. Separate toilet. Spacious hall with large wardrobe. Washer and dryer. Storage annex ski room. Sofa bed in the living room. Fully equipped open kitchen, fully equipped (including a dishwasher, oven, microwave, large fridge, separate freezer, sandwich maker, toaster). Spacious Austrian dining area.
From the living room you enter the terrace. Due to the altitude and the wide valley, the sun sets relatively late! Enjoy your apres ski!

All rooms are made of high quality Swiss pine, some beds up to 210 cm long, with TV. Each room with shower and toilet en-suite (in the family room separate toilet) and hair dryer. From the living room you can access the beautiful wooden terrace with lounge furniture. The kitchen is also connected to the living room. It invites you to cook for the whole family, fully equipped with a stove, oven, dishwasher with tabs as well as a fully automatic coffee machine and kettle, tea bar, detergent and tea towels. You can enjoy a sauna in the chalet's own sauna or let our infrared spa tower warm you up. Washer and dryer can be shared by both chalets (ironing board and iron are available). In winter, there is a practice field and playing field directly nearby for novice skiers. The alpine houses Oscar and Louise, each with 4 rooms, approx. 104 m² of living space, 9 beds, are located at an altitude of 1,700 meters. The area is absolutely snow reliable. The lifts are about 300 meters from the house, and back you can ski almost to the house.
The cross-country ski trail runs 20 meters below the house. There are three restaurants in the area.

An asphalted parking space is right by the house, one parking space per house is free of charge in the underground parking space.

The space
Chalet Oscar, built in 2008, located right next to the Gerlosplatte, Silberleiten.

The bedroom on the ground floor has a double bed. For us it was of utmost importance to accommodate anybody´s needs, so we opted in this room for a handicapped accessible bed.

Upstairs there are two more bedrooms.
One has a double bed, plus one upper bed. From this room you also will enjoy the view, as there is direct access to the balcony.

Going on a family holiday? Your children will love the third bedroom - with two bunk beds and additional CD-player/radio this is the perfect place to hide from their parents!

There are two bathrooms in the house, both are equipped with shower and toilet, the one upstairs also has a bath tub.

The kitchen is equipped with oven, stove, dishwasher and microwave. Furthermore, there are plenty of dishes and cutlery and even a CD player/radio.

Relax in the cozy living room, including a modern lounge area, as well as digital TV and CD player/radio. Many windows make this room very bright!

Dishwashing liquid, toilet paper, paper towels, tea towels, cleaning products, a selection of spices, etc. are available and are included in the price.
In case you come by car, you may park in front of the house. Additionally there is also a underground parking lot.

The former inn was converted into a casual holiday home in 2024. The Söllhof can accommodate up to 33 guests with spacious common areas, kitchen and 6 modern bathrooms. Thus, the house is the perfect starting point for the ski resort Zillertal-Arena, hikes to the highest waterfalls in Europe or simply to celebrate in the house.

Falkensteinalm’s location is perfect; you only walk 100m, and you are in front of the drag lift and the chair lift of the Duxeralm, and with enough snow, you can ski down to the front door of the chalet! The Zillertal Arena ski area is a large and snow-sure ski area, where you can make wonderful day trips from December to mid-April to the villages of Königsleiten, Gerlos and in the direction of Zell am Ziller. There are enough blue slopes for the novice skier, and for the experienced skiers, plenty of red and black slopes, so there is something for everyone. Cross-country skiing and hiking from the chalet are also possible. And how about screeching down the mountain with a sledge, which is possible on the illuminated toboggan run on the Filzsteinalm! After a beautiful winter day, you can store your ski boots in the heated ski storage room and warm up yourself in the sauna. Then, head to the après-ski bar with an adjoining restaurant within walking distance of the chalet.

In summer, you can go in all directions from Hochkrimml, and it is absolutely worthwhile to explore the beautiful surroundings. Beautiful walking and cycling routes start directly from Chalet Falkensteinalm, so bring your bicycle/mountain bike and walking shoes! Or rent bicycles at the Duxeralm restaurant. You can also take a nice walk along the Durlaβboden reservoir at an altitude of 1,400 metres, with lovely resting places along the way and magnificent views or take a dip in the lovely cool waters of the lake. If you prefer to relax in a swimming pool, you can go to the Kristall (swimming) bath in the lower village of Wald im Pinzgau, an ideal swimming pool for families with children. Need more challenge? The village of Hochkrimml, where Chalet Anwo Top 1 is located, is a family-friendly and quiet village with delightful dining options and excellent ski schools. In summer, the beautiful nature figuratively draws you out of the chalet. The surroundings of the Zillertal Arena are stunning and a true paradise for hikers, cyclists, and mountain bikers. Take a walk along the Hochkrimml Panoramaweg, which leads you past some of the most beautiful sights, such as historical customs houses, centuries-old farms, and the birthplace of freedom fighter Anton Wallner. Or tackle the steep mountain paths by bike or mountain bike. A visit to the aforementioned Krimml Waterfalls, the highest waterfalls in Austria, is also highly recommended. Children can have fun in the Sparrebos on the Rosenalm near Zell am Ziller or swim in the Durlassboden reservoir, while parents enjoy a picnic. Something for everyone.
