This attractive, detached family chalet "Senningerblick" is located on a very sunny southern slope with a beautiful panoramic view of the ski and toboggan run, the "Hohe Tauern National Park", the village of Bramberg am Wildkogel and the surrounding mountain world.
The location is ideal, right on the slopes: ski-in, ski-out and directly on the gondola lift the "Smaragdbahn".

Chalet 'Senningerblick' is very centrally located in the child-friendly and family ski area 'Wildkogel Arena', also in the immediate vicinity of Kitzbühel (8 minutes by car from the gondola 'Panorama Bahn'), Kaprun, Zell am See and Gerlos / King's leitings. The very beautiful national nature park Hohe Tauern is on the other side of the valley. Four of the five bedrooms have their own bathroom.

In the stylish sauna room with large glass windows you can enjoy a Finnish and Turkish sauna. NEW: from the winter of 2018/2019 the sauna will be continuously on stand-by with the new innovative sauna heater HARVIA FORTE 9kW. The sauna stove is lockable and can be set that the 120 kg stones always remain at temperature. As soon as you want to use your sauna, a short warm-up time is required to bring your sauna to temperature!

A fully equipped kitchen with sufficient utensils, dishwasher, large fridge, microwave, 2 oven / grill ovens, large induction hob (5 burner), coffee filter machine and Nespresso coffee machine.

It is not part of a vacation parc but rather real and personal in the sense that the owners have lived there themselves before. It is located at the outskirts of Bramberg, yet at walking distance from the centre and shops. We stayed there for 7 days for winter sports in early March. The house is large and clean, with 4 major bedrooms, and very well equipped. For example, in the kitchen you find everything you might possibly need and adding to the completeness was the presence of warm slippers in different sizes for all visitors. The house is complete but don't expect major luxury. The living room and kitchen are heated with a large stove, which the owners fuel with wood every day. It stays warm until the next day. The owners are very friendly and helpful, they even made the effort to send a forgotten item to us after our stay. In short: we had a pleasant and comfortable stay in a family-friendly setting!"

The wood-fired tiled stove radiates a cozy warmth. There is ample space for guests to linger at a large dining table, in the cozy bay window and to relax in the living area in the gallery. The rustic kitchen with old wood elements and island is well equipped. Three large bedrooms with extra-large double box spring beds and a rustic attic room under the roof (also with a double bed) offer the best conditions for a good night's sleep. You wake up in the morning with a beautiful view of the mountains. There are a total of three bathrooms with high-quality fittings, rain shower and one of them with a bathtub. For winter sports enthusiasts there are great options for skiing, snowshoeing and sledding. In less than ten minutes by car you can reach the valley station of the Smaragdbahn, which takes you to the Wildkogel Arena ski area with Europe's longest illuminated toboggan run. It is only 10 minutes to the Panoramabahn in Hollersbach, from which you can take the gondola directly to the ski area of the Kitzbüheler Alpen. The Zillertal Arena, which has the best access in Königsleiten / Hochkrimml, is also very popular and can be reached in about 30 minutes by car. After exercising, you can relax in the in-house sauna, relax in the warmth of the tiled stove and enjoy the views of the lights in the valley.

Our Chalet Obenland is located on the sunny mountain above the village of Bramberg am Wildkogel in the Kitzbühel Alps. As soon as we look out the window, we feel connected to nature. For many years, we have fallen in love with this piece of paradise again and again: while skiing, hiking, mountain biking, paragliding, emerald prospecting, at the largest waterfalls in Europe in Krimml...

Wildkogel Arena is about 5 minutes away,

Gerlos-Königsleiten, Zell am See/Kaprun about 25 minutes.

The space
You can drive up to the Sonnberg in a few minutes by car. The new driveway is also always open in winter. A corresponding change to Google Maps has been requested!

Three booking options:

1. the whole chalet including suite for up to max. 10 people - you are here!
2. only the main house for up to 8 people;
3. only the Chalet Obenland suite for up to 2 people

The chalet is divided into two floors, which are connected inside via a spiral staircase and outside via an external staircase.
In addition, there is a separately accessible suite with a private bathroom (shower and toilet) and private access to the southwestern sun terrace.
Entry to the house is via the main door on the upper floor, which can be reached via the covered garage.
When you come in, on the left is a cozy bedroom completely in wood with a small bench, wardrobe and a loft bed, i.e. a single bed upstairs and an additional single bed downstairs - ideal for children. There is a toilet on the left. Straight ahead you come into the living room with open dining area and separate, fully equipped kitchen with generous pass-through. In the living room, there is a cozy sofa bed for two people as well as a flat-screen TV (equipped with Amazon FireTV Stick, so that streaming services are accessible).
If you go down the stairs, you will find two bedrooms with one double bed, wardrobe, and bench each. On this floor you will also find the first bathroom with bathtub and separate shower/toilet.
Through the utility room with washer and dryer you get to the beautiful southwest terrace overlooking the peaks of Hohe Tauern National Park. There is a table with a dining area where you can eat outside on nice days.
In the garden you will find a fountain with water from a small stream that flows through the property and is a kind of adventure playground for children.
Via the terrace you get to the beautiful annex, where you can put ski boots etc. in the spacious hallway to dry. Here is a separate suite with panoramic windows, a box-spring bed (double bed) and a pull-out sofa bed, private kitchenette with fridge and spacious sitting area, as well as a second bathroom with shower and toilet.
