- "The Aurora mountain chalet was fitted out to a very high standard. It had everything required for a relaxing vacation. The views were amazing and the location in the village of Kaprun was very quiet and peaceful. The cycle path was only a few meters away and a short ride or walk straight to the cable car and restaurants. We were there in June 2021 so we only used the sauna a couple of times but it is a nice touch. A small downside the week we were there they were resurfacing the access road and we could not use the covered parking Mon- Fri . For mountain biking and water sports at the lake Kaprun is the ideal location."

The newly designed hunting chalet is located on the sunny side of Kaprun-Süd at 880 meters above sea level, in a exposed hillside location, surrounded by detached country houses "above the roofs of Kaprun".

The glacier with its 40 kilometers of slopes and high-altitude trail and numerous ski areas Maiskogel and Schmittenhöhe with 138 kilometers of slopes are only a short drive away. With adequate snow conditions experienced skiers can ski from Maiskogel to the chalet.

The beautiful chalet has 6 bedrooms and two bathrooms and offers about 180 square meters of space for max. 10 adults and 2-3 kids on 2 floors. The mansion in the noble ambience was designed with respect to many Austrian natural materials such as old wood and wood carvings. In front of the house there are four free parking spaces and one covered carport.

On the ground floor is the main entrance and the ski cellar with ski boot heater. In the entrance of the chalet is the cloakroom with impressive panorama image of the nearby glacier. On this level is 1 comfort room with a dreamlike boxspring bed and an alpine single bed. In another bedroom / living room there is a double bed and a small kids corner.

The spacious sauna was personally made by a master and is also located on the ground floor. Compared to the sauna is a large bathroom to find with rainfall shower. After the sauna bath, you can enjoy the fresh mountain air on a separate outdoor area, which is located next to the sauna, enjoy.

A handmade wooden staircase leads you to the upper floor of the hunting chalet. You will find 2 comfortable rooms with fantastic boxspring beds and 2 small twin rooms, i.e. for kids. The twin rooms come with alpine bunk beds. In the front of ​​the corridor is a further bathroom with rainfall shower and LED mirror. 2 toilettes.

From the corridor you enter the new country kitchen in elegant white lacquer finish, which is equipped with 6 ceramic hobs, a large fridge and freezer, oven and dishwasher.

Alpenhaus Kesselfall is the middle of nature at the end of Kapruner valley with 1 km to the lift on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier. The last 500 meters to the house run in a tracked vehicle in the winter, so snow is completely untouched around the house.
This is the perfect place for family, friends or companies that want to keep the holidays together under one roof.
Alpenhaus Kesselfall consists of a large dining room, lounge and large industrial kitchen with the possibility of staff on request. Bathrooms nice and big and one bathroom with bath great for the little ones. Especially the balcony was very nice really big and from lunch on the whole afternoon sun! Really enjoyed the stay would highly recommend this place. Great walking distance from the Maiskogelbahn, even with small children. Pretty basic kitchen utensils. For example, we missed a cheese slicer and a water jug."
