- "The Aurora mountain chalet was fitted out to a very high standard. It had everything required for a relaxing vacation. The views were amazing and the location in the village of Kaprun was very quiet and peaceful. The cycle path was only a few meters away and a short ride or walk straight to the cable car and restaurants. We were there in June 2021 so we only used the sauna a couple of times but it is a nice touch. A small downside the week we were there they were resurfacing the access road and we could not use the covered parking Mon- Fri . For mountain biking and water sports at the lake Kaprun is the ideal location."

The newly designed hunting chalet is located on the sunny side of Kaprun-Süd at 880 meters above sea level, in a exposed hillside location, surrounded by detached country houses "above the roofs of Kaprun".

The glacier with its 40 kilometers of slopes and high-altitude trail and numerous ski areas Maiskogel and Schmittenhöhe with 138 kilometers of slopes are only a short drive away. With adequate snow conditions experienced skiers can ski from Maiskogel to the chalet.

The beautiful chalet has 6 bedrooms and two bathrooms and offers about 180 square meters of space for max. 10 adults and 2-3 kids on 2 floors. The mansion in the noble ambience was designed with respect to many Austrian natural materials such as old wood and wood carvings. In front of the house there are four free parking spaces and one covered carport.

On the ground floor is the main entrance and the ski cellar with ski boot heater. In the entrance of the chalet is the cloakroom with impressive panorama image of the nearby glacier. On this level is 1 comfort room with a dreamlike boxspring bed and an alpine single bed. In another bedroom / living room there is a double bed and a small kids corner.

The spacious sauna was personally made by a master and is also located on the ground floor. Compared to the sauna is a large bathroom to find with rainfall shower. After the sauna bath, you can enjoy the fresh mountain air on a separate outdoor area, which is located next to the sauna, enjoy.

A handmade wooden staircase leads you to the upper floor of the hunting chalet. You will find 2 comfortable rooms with fantastic boxspring beds and 2 small twin rooms, i.e. for kids. The twin rooms come with alpine bunk beds. In the front of ​​the corridor is a further bathroom with rainfall shower and LED mirror. 2 toilettes.

From the corridor you enter the new country kitchen in elegant white lacquer finish, which is equipped with 6 ceramic hobs, a large fridge and freezer, oven and dishwasher.

Opposite is the hunting room with spacious living / dining area, sofa, 40-inch Full HD TV and fireplace. Here and throughout the chalet are very discreetly positioned some real hunting trophies from the high alpine mountains.

The approximately 40 square meters large covered porch is a real gem and opened a spectacular view over the rooftops of Kaprun and the impressive mountains.

The chalet is located on an approximately 1 000 sqm plot and has towards its own sun terrace to the garden. Here you can relax in the warm season on deckchairs.

Alpenhaus Kesselfall is the middle of nature at the end of Kapruner valley with 1 km to the lift on the Kitzsteinhorn glacier. The last 500 meters to the house run in a tracked vehicle in the winter, so snow is completely untouched around the house.
This is the perfect place for family, friends or companies that want to keep the holidays together under one roof.
Alpenhaus Kesselfall consists of a large dining room, lounge and large industrial kitchen with the possibility of staff on request. The rooms are spread over 3 single rooms, 8 double and 5 family rooms. Half of the rooms have private bath and toilet, where the other half have a shared shower and toilet in the hallway.

The place is so unique and unspoilt it’s makes it magical getting up to the hotel by the little truck made the holiday as well as was so different to do and so private which was amazing! - "Pros: Property looked as advertised, and is truly in a really great location. Milk cows right of the balcony! Spacious and lots of places to sleep. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen well-appointed.Cons: Lots of dead insects inside, and stairs were dirty. We had to turn on the water when we arrived, and I had never received any check-in information. Then when I did it was the wrong key box code. But Sarah helped us to quickly get over those issues. Lastly, we supplied the chalet with 3 fly-swatters, as the cows attract flies and there are no insect screens on the windows or doors. And the upper level really could have used a ceiling or floor fan or two, as it was quite warm and damp some days. I know it's primarily a ski chalet, but if you are going to rent it in August the chalet should have some ability to move the air around. Overall. it was fine and we would stay again."

Our homey mountain retreat used to be my grandparents' place and has been completely renovated just recently. We wanted to preserve the snug and cosy traditional atmosphere with a combination of traditional furniture and a more modern almost minimalistic kind of interior. We kept parts of the traditional furniture and a beautiful collection of my granddad's handcarved portraits on the ground floor and combined it with bright wood and white on the first floor to leaven the atmosphere.

The space
The house is located close to the city-centre of Kaprun next to a small stream in a beautiful garden. It consists of two floors, with a bathroom on each floor. The ground floor offers a new furnished kitchen, a big living and dining room with a fireplace and a traditional dining area and a cosy sleeping booth with a king-size bed. The way into the garden leads over the spacious veranda with a breath-taking view of the nearby Kitzsteinhorn glacier. The bathroom on the ground floor has a bathtub and in-floor heating, perfect after an exhausting day on the slopes. The fully equipped kitchen offers everything a passionate “chef de cuisine” could possibly need. If you need a place to rest after a long day of skiing, the cosy and spacious living-room couch and the big smart-TV are the perfect spot for you.

The first floor contains of 3 bedrooms, a small kitchenette and a second bathroom with a shower, which offers a quite beautiful view of the surrounding mountains. The master bedroom offers a king-size bed for two, a balcony with a beautiful mountain view and of course a roomy closet to fit all your skiing or hiking equipment. The second bedroom contains of a single bed, a closet, a small workplace with fast Wi-Fi and a unique bookshelf. The third bedroom also has a single bed, a closet and a comfy armchair to relax with a thrilling book.

Last but not least there is a heated ski cellar to keep your equipment warm and save during the night.

The Premium Chalet is located on the sunny hillside of Kaprun-South at 880 meters altitude. My accommodation is short to skislopes, hiking areas, Kitzsteinhorn glacier, Zell am See. You will love my accomodation because of the view over Kaprun, the clear mountain air and the varied leisure activities. A continental buffet breakfast with local specialties is always included in the price and is freshly prepared for you every day by our staff in the chalet. A gourmet 3-course evening meal can optionally be booked in advance and will also be served to your group by our staff in the evening or prepared as a buffet. Self-catering or use of the kitchen and taking your own drinks with you is not possible - our self-service bar is stocked with the most common non-alcoholic and alcoholic drinks - we are happy to accept special drink requests before arrival and will take care of them for you.

Lots of wood, fine fabrics (from Karl Weber Interior Design on site) and a warm color concept give the chalet a touch of alpine cosiness - combined with a modern, urban touch. No compromises were made in terms of furnishings and fittings: solid wood cabinet-maker furniture, first-class innerspring beds, Sonos sound system in the living rooms and much more!

There are two suites on the ground floor. In the communal area and the lounge you can meet for breakfast together and exchange ideas about the adventures you have experienced. The terrace offers plenty of space to relax and is equipped with solid wood carpenter furniture as well as lounge and sun chairs.

On the first floor there are three further suites with balconies. The rooms are very lovingly furnished, comfortable. Appealing, timeless interior, sleeping comfort, high-quality tiles and stoneware in the bathrooms and large doors, windows and balconies - you immediately feel very comfortable in the rooms.
The three suites on the second floor also offer a wonderful view of the mountain panorama and in the afternoon you can keep an eye out for your loved ones on the slopes on the balconies.

In the basement there is a small sauna with a separate shower area to relax and regenerate after a long day of skiing, a strenuous hike or an impressive bike ride. A spacious ski room with a boot dryer is also available.

The spacious common area invites you to enjoy a relaxed breakfast which is served daily by our staff. A large electric fireplace in the fireplace room ensures cozy evenings. And from the winter garden you have direct access to the sun-shielded terrace.
From the spacious sun terrace you have a great view of the imposing mountain backdrop that frames the Kitzsteinhorn glacier. Strength, space, tranquility - here you will find a nice place to linger. A 25sqm parasol and a radiant heater for cooler evenings provide pleasant comfort. The terrace offers space for up to 20 people and is equipped with solid wood joiner furniture as well as lounge and sun chairs (in summer).
