As well as Netflix and Neon, a selection of books and games are provided for when you don't want to leave the house.

The whole property is fully fenced and private with plenty of off-street parking.

A cute cottage on a 1.85 hectare property very private (we live in the main house on the other side of the property)
Relax in a rural setting lots of trees expansive lawn and a short stroll down a path to the beach and rock pools at low tide. (sandy swimming beach 5 mins drive) Great for star gazing on a clear night. No wifi or T.V.
Riversdale Beach has a store with basic groceries, burgers, takeaways, coffee,wine, and beer.
We love our special place in paradise and love sharing a unique part of New Zealand with others. A number of interesting garden artworks can be seen in the large rustic garden.
Castlepoint is a 40 minute drive away - the lighthouse can be seen flashing at night from the property.
Craypot Cottage is situated on a working farm so please follow the signs regarding driving very slowly through the yards and 30 km elsewhere to safeguard animals and keep down dust in dry weather.
Riversdale Beach has lovely walks along the beach and walkways up hills wandering through the new subdivision and southern beach walkway for those wanting a decent climb.

Rural property. No oven but great microwave and electric cooktop. BBQ at the cottage under cover. Washing machine available at main house for long stays.

Cobwebs Cottage is a delightful self contained accommodation for 2 people. Situated in the homestead garden this charming cottage over looks the tennis court and ocean.
Cobwebs is very comfortable with all the ' mod cons' . TV, SKY,DVD, microwave. It has a queen size bed and large ensuite complete with claw foot bath.
We do provide a light breakfast . cereal/tea/coffee/milk etc. But please bring your own bread.
Cobwebs is only a short stroll to the beautiful beach at Riversdale where you can walk, swim or fish. Riversdale also over a wonderful 9 hole golf course that welcomes visitors and a local store where you can get a latte and takeaways. What more could you want.
We are also a wedding venue. A marquee can be placed on the land in front of the Homestead, among the olive trees looking out to the ocean.
We have accommodation for over 30 people here on the station so plenty of beds for guests.

Country Bliss Cottage is an original historic Greytown cottage its origins dating back to the 1880's . The cottage still retains its character and charm but with modern day comforts. The garden is private and sunny with an abundance of bird life, mature fruit trees and cottage garden flowers. The decor is a mixture of vintage and new with quality furnishings throughout . A roaring log-fire with all firewood supplied makes for a cosy winter retreat.
There are two bikes supplied that can be used on the nearby Woodside Rail Trail or biking around the picturesque streets of Greytown.

Roses on West cottage was built in 2007 replicating the old colonial style of the mid 1800's but because it is a recent build it affords all that is good about todays construction but has the ambience of a past era i.e high ceilings, sash windows etc.

The cottage has established gardens such as box hedging and roses, several camilla's and other flowering shrubs also high hedging offers you a private setting for outdoor activities.

The early morning sun streams into the fully equipped spacious kitchen as it finds it's way to the front of the house by the afternoon where you may wish to relax and read a book or perhaps enjoy a glass of wine on the veranda.

There is a spa bath as well as a shower in the tiled bathroom for you to relax in before or after your days activities if you wish to do so.

If it is privacy, ambience, comfort and close proximity to all Greytowns attractions we think Roses on West ticks all those boxes.
Special conditions:
Departure needs to be no later than 10.30am as the cottage is serviced at that time.

Servicing Charges
The base rate for the cottage is for one room only. If you are a couple the rate per night is for one room but if you need to use the 2nd bedroom there is a one off charge of $50. The same also applies to 2 single guests using both rooms there will be a one off charge of $50.

The perfect outdoor setting for dining, enjoying the country air or just soaking up the sun with a good book. A lovely heater on the deck for curling up with a blanket on the evenings or cold days.

If you experience one of those rainy days you can relax in front of the gas fire, entertaining yourself with the selection of DVD's, books and board games available.

There are two mountain bikes available onsite if you are looking for some exercise.

Our property has 2 separate Bach's:
Bach 1 - has a separate master bedroom (queen bed) and an open plan lounge with a double sofa bed and full kitchen.
Bach 2 - is our studio unit with a queen bed in the lounge as well as a double sofa bed and full kitchen (open plan)

We are a dog friendly accommodation - ($20 per day for your pooch's stay) please add this to your initial booking so we are aware that you are bringing your furry friend.

Other points to note:
(1) Internet coverage in the Bach's is limited due to the location of the tower across the Lake and the trees on our Property, there is coverage in the reserve next door.
(2) One.nz (ex Vodafone) - there is next to zero coverage in the whole village.

Both Bach's are situated in a lovely quiet garden surround and next to a large green grass Reserve. The Reserve leads straight onto the Lake.

The Lake Ferry Hotel and beach are less than a 10 minutes walk away in the Lake Ferry Village.

The Pirinoa Store and Land Girl Cafe are a 6 minute drive before the Lake Ferry Village

Tourist attractions include: Ngawi Village, Palliser Bay Lighthouse, the Putangirua Pinnacles and Martinborough - all within a 20 minute drive.

Doggie Rules - Strictly no dogs on the furniture, all dogs must be well managed out of respect for other guests. If you have not paid for your pooch in advance you will be asked on arrival for the cost of their stay.
