We really enjoyed our time in Anaconda and the hosts and their employees were great to work with on this rental. The provided bedding and towels were nice to have. The beds were comfortable. We filled all the rooms with women from 60 to teenagers and everyone was able to find a comfortable spot. The kitchen was well stocked with enough plates, bowls, utensils, and cups for our group. We cooked three dinners and a breakfast for everyone while we were there. There is a large commercial fridge, two dishwashers, and two ranges which made food prep easy for a group. We enjoyed the back patio area with chairs and hammocks. With the provided parking and street parking, we had enough space for all of our vehicles. "

The Hostel is a comfortable stay and intriguing experience! This value-priced bed option gives you one bed in a dorm room with either a triple bunk or two double bunks, depending on availability. Our dorm rooms have heat, AC, a fan, and 10' ceilings; they do not have windows. Each bed has linens, a set of towels, an electric outlet, USB port, night light, reading light and basket for personal items. it is possible another guest may rent a bed in the same room. Private room options are available on AirBNB.

Your accommodation includes access to the entire facility - a well-equipped kitchen where you can store food and cook to your heart's content - dining area, TV area, music corner, two electric fireplace-adorned sitting areas, and a coin-operated laundry. The new shower and bathroom suite is unisex; each unit is private with individual locks and ample privacy. An outside BBQ and hammock-lounging area top it off.

Located in downtown Anaconda, the Hostel is within walking distance of coffee shops, bakeries, shopping, salons, eateries, fine dining, brewery, wine and bottle shop, bicycle shops, library, post office, museum, theatre, parks and trails and more. The space
With it's enchanting lounge and kitchen with two sets of major appliances, this is where your group can hang out, play games, jam to music, watch movies and sporting events, enjoy Anaconda, MT, hike any of our many local trails, and all stay in the same, affordable location.

Built in 1980 as Anaconda's new Masonic Lodge, all of its 7360 square feet was remodeled and repurposed in 2021 specifically to accommodate people who value adventure, affordability and community. It became Pintler's Portal Hostel.

The building has two floors. The main lobby has a fireplace and display of stacks of relevant and inviting information about the community and the area. On that floor is the robust bathroom and shower suite - unisex and optimized for privacy. There are 11 bedrooms (10' ceilings but no windows) that sleep 34 people primarily in hostel bunks but 2 rooms house one full-size bed to accommodate the more conservative traveler. All boasting luxurious duvets. Brand new. Bright. Clean. Comfortable.

The lower floor is extraordinary. The multipurpose room is a great place for yoga, games or meetings, and the lounge will take your breath away. It accommodates any family, friend, team, business, or community gathering. A fully equipped kitchen lends tempts one's culinary talent, or leave the cooking to the locals and have them cater yoru meals.

With mountain murals adorninig all its walls, you'll find in this huge space a large flat screen TV with reclining chairs (oh so comfy), a music corner with piano and guitar for your talented musicians, a fireplace seating and conversation area, dining space with Montana hand-crafted tables, a bar to cozy up to, and a robust kitchen with two of all major appliances, a commercial refrigerator, freezer, lots of storage and all the cookware and serveware you could possible need.

There is also free WiFi, games and books, an outdoor seating area with a BBQ grill, and a coin-operated laundry. Everything you can possibly need.

Unfortunately, we do not have an elevator. We do have one accessible sleeping room and bathroom with a transfer shower on the main floor.

You'll enjoy having this entire building to yourself, and as much as you'll appreciate everything inside, you're also located downtown in one of the best places to visit in Montana. You can walk to everything - shopping, meals, beverages, theatre, parks, trails, bike shop, fish hatchery, historic sites, and more.

For the outdoor enthusiasist, our areas has some of the greatest things to do in Montana without any crowds. We sit at the base of the largest national forest in Montana - the Beaverhead-Deer Lodge National Forest, which houses Zipline Adventures, the Anaconda-Pinlter Wilderness area, the Big Hole Valley, a portion of the Continental Divide Trail, and more hiking, biking, and fishing opportunities than one can possible imagine. Guest access
This is an exclusive rental for the entire facility! The entire building and grounds is yours and yours only.

Two days prior to check in you will receive an access code that gives you exclusive access to the building through both its front and back doors.

Other things to note
There are eight (9) parking spots on site. Free street parking is available in the vicinity, as is the parking lot of the empty Wells Fargo building one block east. If necessary or desired, we can for $10/night offer you private paid parking one block's disctance.

We are strictly a non-smoking and non-vaping facility and property, and smokers and vapers should find themselves another accommodation. Any extra effort to clean debris or odor will incur an additional charge.

We accept pets on a case by case basis for an extra fee of $25 per pet per night. Please contact us directly if you want to bring a pet.

There is a lot to do and explore in and around Anaconda! We have a lot of information (and local menus) available in the Hostel for your use. Questions....ask! Our staff are here because they know Anaconda, the surrounding area, and outdoor recreation opportunities very well, and they want to share that with you.
