- "This hostel has everything we needed from clean facilities, warm heating, electric kettle, cooking amenities to stove and even a breakfast option in the morning! Parking is a bit small but available and we had a wonderful comfortable sleep in. I would highly recommend going to this hostel and the garden wall on the stairs up is a nice touch, makes you feel as if you're in nature. The view right on the cliff edge can entertain you for weeks, so does the remoteness and the fact all you hear is birds and the waves of the sea. We stayed 4 nights and were grateful to have shopped in a bigger supermarket near Santiago, as there really isn’t much around there apart from some very small shops with some essentials, but for me that was all part of the charm. The house is nicely decorated and clean everywhere….apart from the kitchen. I don’t mind that the kitchen is very old, but the cupboards really need a good scrub as every handle and inside drawer/cupboard was sticky. The fact that the oven didn’t work was also a bit of a letdown, as the small replacement electric oven really is only good for some toast. There is no plug to keep the water in the sink for dishes, nor enough plates for the dishwasher….so saving water as requested is impossible really. That’s a shame and easily fixable. We were offered some extra wood twice, also bought some as we really didn’t leave much and the owners/marcella was generally very helpful. I would stay again in a heartbeat, as the place really connects you to nature as no other. "
