- "This was a surprise to me. While marketed as a hostel, they provided impeccable service. The staff were helpful and friendly; and the location is superb. It is directly opposite the Hualien Train Station (you can see the green building from the station, and vice-versa). Saves you the trouble of finding a taxi or alternative transport (which is helpful as it is difficult to get an Uber ride in Hualien). The overall bus station is also beside the train station (allowing for easy transfers to the inner parts of the city like the night market and Taroko Gorge). Great experience, will recommend. Booked a private room and it is equivalent to any self respecting hotel."

The one and only drawback is the hostel doesn't have a lift, so bringing the big luggage bag up and down to and from the 4th floor during check-in and check-out was a bit cumbersome, but that's only twice over the whole stay. Overall, enjoyed staying there alot."

Located in the heart of Hualien, 2km from the train station, with a bus stop at the door.
Near Night Bazaar, Zhonghua Road Present Road, Cultural and Creative Park, Old Railway Cultural Park, Cafes and Cultural and Creative Gift Shops, etc... about 5 mins walk
Minamihama Park and Kitahama Park 10-15min walk

Stairs need to be used
The backpack is on the second floor.
Room is upper/lower bungalow (spring mattress/futon)
Public baths are separated for male and female
Male bathroom is on the 3rd floor
Female bathroom is on the 2nd floor
The bathrooms are all equipped with basic bath toiletries and balcony to dry your clothes.
Maximum number of people in one room up to 6 people
Randomly arrange beds

There is a small shop attached to the shared space on the 1st floor (open to the public for limited time)
Occasional exhibitions and class events are held from time to time

The space
Located on the second floor in a backpacking room for six people, one of the beds has a pull-out bed, a wardrobe, a table board, a shared shower room for an average of three people

Other things to note
There is no elevator
indoor and balcony, smoking is allowed in the plaza on the first floor and outside.
There are occasional events in common spaces.
The common space on the first floor is a composite space, a lounge area, a studio, and a small shop.
Keep noise down after 22:00 to avoid affecting other travelers.
Backpacking rooms are more susceptible to sound effects because of the shared spaces with other travelers.
Please close the public bathroom and use the hair dryer in the public bathroom.
Love the store and the cat, no feeding.
