It’s a four storey building with a lift which is rare in a lot of Min Su. Room is well furnished and the facilities are up to the hotel standard. The real plus point is the owner couple, very friendly and always willing to help. They even drive us to the train station on our departure. A very short path right outside the hotel leads to the beach, boardwalk and recreation area. Although the hotel does not supply breakfast, it supplies snack and water bottles. A few restaurants for lunch and dinner within 5 minutes walk, including a well known no-menu (Mu Min) restaurant that requires advance reservations. - "This is by far one of the better accommodations that I have personally been in. The owner was very nice at check-in, and upgraded my room as well. The room was immaculate, with all the finishings that one could need (and more). The room was big, and was nicely decorated. For the price paid this is incredible value and amazing luxury. The accommodation is located on the second floor of a building, and it is less than five minutes by car from/to Hualien Airport. Snacks and drinks (and food) can be bought at a convenience store at the first floor of this building. There was also free taxi transport service to the airport, which was a really nice touch as I had an early morning flight out of Hualien. This is definitely the accommodation to stay in if you come to Hualien, as it was indeed an amazing experience."

This small inn is in a lovely courtyard development of modern (circa 2009) townhouses, so everything was in very good condition. The hosts were so welcoming and attentive to our needs, going so far as to notice that our (American) kids picked at their breakfast the first morning (which included local, unfamiliar fruits) and buying food more to their liking the next day. The inn caters primarily to domestic or Chinese-speaking travelers, so our experience felt much less "touristy" than a hotel or even hostel. The bedrooms are clean, well-lit, and thematically appealing, although the bathrooms are a bit spartan and could use more lighting. WiFi was terrific. Overall a delightful stay and a great value.
