- "This place is not a hotel. It is a small villa-turned bed & breakfast type venue, except there is no breakfast served. It is very quiet, and the owner couple manage to keep it very clean and tidy. The building is pretty small, but they have designed each room quite well. The rooms are more spacious than expected. Each room has a walk-in closet-type room that connects to the bathroom, so you can leave all your luggage in the walk-in closet area to keep your room clutter-free. The doors are not all that sound-proof, so if there are noisy occupants, you might hear them through closed doors, and if you are the noisy occupant, you better remember that what noise you make can be heard loud and clear in other rooms. Due to the fact that the villa complex is surrounded by rice paddies and distant factories, there are not many outside noises other than the occasional barking of dogs in the distance. This venue is one of a handful of places that allow you to bring pets, so as long as your pet does not do its bathroom business anywhere and everywhere, you can bring your pet along. However, there are not many clean green around the complex for the dogs to do their business, so plan to drive out to a park. There are many great parks. It is located pretty far away from public transportation hubs, so unless you are driving, getting in and out of this venue will cost you. - "Our group of 3 had an amazing stay at Muho - we booked three individual rooms. Each room was extremely clean and spacious, with great windows. The beds were super comfortable and we all slept very well. The showers had plentiful hot water and great water pressure. The bnb staff was extremely kind and went above and beyond in helping us during our time, recommending a driver who took us to Taipingshan, driving us to the bus station, packing us a to-go breakfast when we missed the included one. The common area was also very clean, very cutely furnished, and always had snacks/filtered water :) We only stayed two nights, but we all agree this was one of the best BnBs we've ever stayed at!"

- "One of the best hotels that I've ever stayed at. Seriously. This is a good hotel in a serene and tranquil idyllic environment in Yilan. The hotel itself has many old-like but very good wooden furniture and pieces which make it more homey and comfortable. The room itself was quite large and nicely appointed. Bathroom soap smelled nice and the towels were the softest of any hotel that I've ever stayed at. However, the best feature was the overly large balcony with a scenic view and many beautiful birds to see. It was so large that you can fit a six-person picnic table (provided ) with plenty of room to spare. Great for dinner and/or breakfast. Only downfall was the breakfast. Although it was beautiful looking and tasty, it was quite small and lacking meat. It had 3/4 of a hardboiled egg (1/4 cut out to make it look fancy) and a single meatball thing. That was all for the meat. The guava was very delicious, but the congee and the soy bean milk was just warm and not hot. However, that aside, it is a very, very nice hotel."
