The rooms are tiny, and most of them don't have en suite bathrooms, but at this price who cares? There are dozens of good dining and drinking options within walking distance, along with a lot of shopping. The pension itself is very attractive, well-maintained, and leafy with multiple terrasses for sitting and having a coffee among flowers. They welcomed me while I was traveling with my cat. Altogether an excellent experience."

- "Everything was wonderful but we would have liked to use the swimming pool at 29 degrees!!! " - "The clue is in the name - it's a youth hostel, so basic and has young people who aren't always quiet but, even so, this is reasonably priced and well located accommodation and the kids do pipe down by midnight! It's only 10-15 minutes walk from the bus station (or you can taxi) and is close to the old town and not far to the beach, so a brilliant location. Our room was basic but clean and the beds comfortable enough and with a good shower and air conditioning. There was little noise from outside. Staff were friendly and really helpful. The common areas are okay - given that they get lots of use from kids - but we didn't spend anytime in them nor did we have breakfast in the hostel so can't comment on that. With so many good bars and restaurants in Marbella - and great weather - we didn't see any point in hanging round the hostel. There is an outdoor pool but I don't know if it was in use. The hostel certainly wins on price and location."

While clean, the rooms have damp/mold issues and the air con units, tv & bathroom fittings are very old. Functional, basic but old. For example, the tv was too small to be able to watch from the bed and there was damp mold in the wardrobe and mold all over the shower ceiling. However, this is what is to be expected for the price that you are paying. One major issue that would prevent us from staying again though was the noise. There is no soundproofing at all. Which is usually normal these days. Not only can you hear every word of the conversation from your neighbors and the footsteps of people walking through the corridors but if you are unlucky enough to be staying in a room with pipework you will hear the water running constantly throughout the night. The first night we got up several times thinking it was our own shower that was running. It was this loud! I wish I could say more positive things about this place but the noise issue for us was too much to consider returning to the property. A shame as apart from that it would be a great place for most to stay. Perhaps maybe if you are looking for a great location at a reasonable price just bring earplugs. "

- "My husband and I stayed for 4 nights as we were going to a wedding about 20 mins from the place and we were really pleased with the hotel especially with how cheap it was. The family that run the place we're so friendly and welcoming, we strongly advise to try their barbecue on an evening as it was absolutely beautiful, the room we stayed in was clean and cool and beds were comfy. They let me borrow a hair dryer and iron free of charge and they were really helpful in telling us where places were. Marbella town is a 5 minute taxi drive and is such a beautiful place. We will definitely be going back!!"
