The only problem is the wet room showers, it's hard to keep belongings dry in there as there are no shelves. - "A very central location, just a few meters from one of the central squares and right next to shops, restaurants and facilities. Fortunately, the windows are proper sound proof. My room was quite basic, but everything worked just fine and most importantly: everything was clean. The venue has 5 rooms that share one kitchen, 2 toilets and one shower. Fortunately, everything was properly cleaned daily, which felt quite reassuring. Staff is friendly and professional. Gia, the manager, sent instructions well ahead of my arrival and assured everything went according to plan. The only points of constructive feedback would be that there's little isolation between the rooms. I'd also would have loved to have a small washing basin in the room. Apart from that, I'm very happy with my stay and I would definitely stay again! "

Accommodation Shappy is one of the newest accommodations in Zagreb. Situated in the very heart of the city, it provides its customers with an opportunity to fall in love with Zagreb by starting their journey inside out. Our accommodation property consist of 14 very originally decorated rooms, each personalized with a different style of it's own. This includes 43 possible beds. When we were developing our rooms, we put a lot of thought in their appearance. We have tried to match different tastes by giving all of our guests a piece of their own personality expressed through the accommodation that we offer. Exploring this, we came up with a lot of interesting surroundings. First off we have the special and loving "Romantic room" designed for couples who want a bit of their own space and privacy. Next, we have "Green room" and "Stripey room" which both have their own special feel to it. What we also offer are rooms designed for bigger groups, like "Happy room" and "Swag room". "Cool Suite" on the other hand, consist of two separate bedrooms and has its own private bathroom. In the summer of 2013, we have upgraded our hostel with eight new rooms. All of them are deluxe category and have their own private bathroom. They are ideal for business people and families with children.

All of the rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and free Wi-Fi. Beds in all the rooms are provided with linen.

The hostel is 2.5 km from the Main Square of Ban Jelačić, Central Station is 2.1 km away, and the Bus Station is 2.5 km away.(7-12 minutes drive). All museums and significant facilities are within 1-3 km.
The entrance to the hostel and to the private room is via a key pad with a secret code(given prior to arrival!) .We don't have a classic reception.

We are a newly opened hostel in the center of Zagreb. We are located on the ground floor of the building in Andrija Hebrang Street, which is under the protection of cultural goods and belongs to the Historical Urban City of Zagreb. During the reconstruction, we aimed to preserve the original architectural design. We wanted to keep the "spirit" of old Zagreb and the historical picture of the Zagreb with the necessary modern elements.

The space
The hostel is conceptualized as a large apartment with 10 private rooms, a shared living room, a kitchen and two bathrooms. The rooms are single, double, triple and quadruple and are all equipped with wardrobes, nightstand cabinets and reading lamps. Guests can prepare meals in the shared kitchen equipped with a fridge, stove, oven and microwave.
