In case of fire obviously the lift shouldn’t be used but as was so dark I defy anyone being able to exit via the circular staircase. We decided against breakfast as we were told that someone was coming in especially just to cook for us. All in all it just wasn’t a very pleasant experience. "

Also the reception is at the adjacent Comfort hotel, which was not made clear on the web site, so for a while I thought I would be sleeping in the car as the reception at Mister Bed was unattended. I had selected this hotel specifically because the web site said the reception was open until 9.30pm, so finding the reception closed at 9.00pm was unnerving, to say the least. Yes, typed pages were displayed at the reception referring to the Kriad but (a) they were in French only and (b) the adjacent hotel is now labelled as a Comfort Hotel and is not obviously part of the Kyriad chain."
