The cabins are located a few feet from the gates of Mount Rainier National Park. Entrance is visible from the property. The main inn has an on-site store and souvenir shop. A small refrigerator and microwave are included in the cottages at the Gateway Inn & Cabins. The cottages are located away from the main building of the inn. I am not a TV person at all so I liked that there was no tv in the room. The coffee at the coffee shop was good in the morning on the way to the park. " - "What a gem! Cons... the bed was comfortable but FIRM and there was not a microwave or an icebox in the rooms. Guests have access to the surrounding area, with cedar, douglas fir and western hemlock trees. There are lawns with wild-flowers throughout, for enjoyment.
