Having paid in full through Expedia, was told at reception on booking in that we haven't paid so a credit card was presented and payment taken (again) from that. When we checked out, I had the email confirmation from Expedia which stated it had been paid in full. Hotel staff were very obliging and stated we should not have paid for breakfast either as that was included in the Holiday Inn Express price. They were trying to sort this out as we left, still waiting to hear from them as to the result, hopefully a refund into my credit card. Otherwise the hotel was excellent, ideal location, inexpensive meals, great and friendly staff - hello Laura :)"

The bedrooms have been finished to a high standard and offer a relaxing stay. You will have easy access to some of the finest golf courses, Troon being only 15 mins away by car. The seaside town of Ayr is approx 5 miles away which has plenty going on for families. We have a bar and restaurant on site with a very talented chef and is very popular within the local area.
