The room was overlooking the outside restaurant/bar area so was a bit noisy in the evening. It's beside a huge outdoor swimming complex which was great. We had a nice walk to the lake which was beautiful. The restaurant was really good as was breakfast. It was a bit hard to find the hotel at first, but we now know to follow signs for the swimming complex."

For every day there is a planner available that notifies you of the weather and any special events in the area, very nice touch. The appartement was just perfect, absolute German top quality. The staff was always ready to help, sadly not everyone spoke English which made things difficult sometimes. Bonus points for the young man that showed us around the area, he was so helpfull, funny and friendly. Every hotel needs a guy like him."

- "Thought the hotel was lovely, particularly the bedroom which was a single room. The lobby was a little bit outdated, but this did not matter. The views of the lake from the restaurant and my room were stunning. Great setting." - "We stayed in a deluxe double which had a view out over the garden and on to the lake. The room was clean and tidy but there are no tra or coffee making facilities in the room. Instead there are some 'refreshment stations' placed in the corridor which work on an honesty system. Whatever you take you keep a note of and then declare it at checkout (I think). We didn't use it but some other guests did, at about 1 in the morning, and made a great deal of noise - not ideal. However, not the fault of the hotel really, but just worth being aware of. There is a big car park opposite the hotel, so parking is easy. Breakfast was good, although we did have to hunt for bowls or plates which were not placed close to where you might need them. The terrace and garden are lovely to walk around and it is only a short walk through the garden to the lake."
