The space
This stunning apartment is spacious, sophisticated and charming. Boasting a king room with ensuite, and a further two bedrooms with a shared bathroom, its the perfect base for those wanting to gather a family or group for a great weekend away.

Bobby's, our bar is stocked with 100% Victorian craft beer, wines and spirits, focused on artisan, craft and small batch and is open Wednesday to Saturday. The Stables Cafe and Bar is a licensed cafe open from 8 am Tuesday to Sunday for breakfast, lunch, a cold beer and everything in between, with both indoor and outdoor dining.

As expected for such an old hotel, rooms are large, with high ceilings and a load of original fixtures. Split systems and quality linens means your stay will be very comfortable. You'll find a lounge to relax in or if needed, we can add an extra blow up bed. A kitchen has everything you need to whip up a quick meal but with so much on offer, let us do the work.

A short stroll has you at the shore of Lake Wendouree and we also offer a pick up service from the Ballarat train station if you are not coming by car.

Check in is from 2pm and check out at 11am but we can generally accept earlier arrivals or at least hold your luggage. Later check out can be arranged by consultation. Parking is free and plentiful - either at the front or side of the building or in our car park across the road.
